I’ve been going to PFD for several years (first with Dr. Knight). Nobody likes going to the dentist, but Dr. Agee and his staff try their best to make it as painless as possible. Dr. Agee holds himself to an incredibly high standard of care and has gone the extra mile for me. For example, when installing my last crown, he made sure it fit EXACTLY right so that there would be no discomfort down the road.

Over my life, I’ve had a lot of dental work done, so consider myself an expert… a title I hate to claim. If you want the best dental care anywhere, this is it. Dr. Agee is superb. And so is his team. If you are looking for cheap, go elsewhere, but if you want quality in you very own mouth, they are worth it.

Warm and welcoming environment. Super friendly staff and my hygienist Annie is THE BEST! This is the healthiest my teeth/​gums have ever been. Her cleaning is so thorough and complete and she’s witty and funny, which makes hanging out in her chair that much better.
Dr. Agee is very friendly and makes you feel at ease. He is professional and thorough and very good at his work.
This is the place to go if you are serious about getting your oral health in the best shape ever.

The team at Portland Family Dentistry is top notch – efficient, professional, and above all, genuinely kind. I left my initial exam appointment and cleaning feeling so well cared for and expertly guided.
As the result of a nomadic life, my mouth is a dentistry patchwork and usually I leave my intro appointment with a new team feeling bummed, daunted, and dizzy from product/​treatment pitches. I left my appointment (s) today with a small clutch of roses feeling like a beauty queen with a sparking deep cleaned set of teeth and looking forward to a long relationship with this practice. The exam was the most thorough I’ve ever enjoyed, and thanks to dr. Agee’s propensity for cameras and simple new tech, I saw angles of my mouth and past work never before seen. These were used to explain a recommended treatment course that made perfect sense.
All members of my family will be taken care of by this practice and when I’m asked for a recommendation I will confidently sing the praises of Dr. Agee and his terrific team.

My family had seen Dr. Richard Knight for 15 years and we were very sad to hear the news that he had retired. Change is always hard but when I heard that Dr. Knight had Dr. Agee for his dentist I felt confident that Dr. Agee would carry on with the same high quality dentistry and personal attention. We are all thrilled with the care we are getting. I just had a crown and I will say it was the easiest one I have ever had! The staff is, or course, fabulous, and Dr. Agee is carrying on in the superb Knight tradition. Five stars to the entire staff!

After having Dr. Knight as my dentist for 20 years, I was a bit skeptical when he sold the practice to Dr. Agee, especially since I drive in from Hillsboro. But the transition has been very smooth, helped I’m sure by the fact that almost the entire staff that I’ve come to know and trust is still there and taking excellent care of me and my teeth.

i have been to 3 dentists in this town. all at really cheap prices and guess what? the service was terrible. thankfully i found Dr. Travis Agee. My mouth was a wreck until i found him. he and his staff are thorough and great at what they do. they allayed my phobia about dentists for ever.
the staff are warm and friendly and extremely skilled at what they do. i cannot recommend this office enough. be it something as simple as a cleaning all the way up to the serious work i needed (bridges, cavities and eventually implants.
if you need serious work don’t think you could save money by going to a cheap dentist. i made this mistake. i finally found a dentist that knows exactly what he’s doing. and you can put a price on piece of mind.
i would highly recommend this Dr. Agee and his excellent staff to anyone in need of dental work.

Got my cleaning today and it was super thorough. Considering how thorough it was it was surprising how gentle Annie was.
I went it last month for my checkup and had a great visit with Dr Agee. Although I have to get some fillings later this week, I’m not that concerned because I know I’m good hands.
Overall it’s a nice environment considering it’s a Dentist office and the team is super friendly.

Dr. Agee has taken over the practice of Dr. Knight, who our family had trusted with our care for about 25 years. When I heard about the transition, I was encouraged from the outset by the news that the rest of the staff (all of them professional, friendly, caring) would be staying. An additional good sign was the news delivered by Dr. Knight that he was turning things over to someone that he trusted and respected. I have only had one procedure performed by Dr. Agee so far, but based on that, I’m very happy to say that he appears to be skilled, confident, and efficient. It appears that my family’s mouths remain in good hands.
