Portland Painting and restoration is a bonded, insured General Contractor. Primarily focusing on painting, restoration, & construction. Were large enough to handle all of your painting needs, but still offer the service of a small company. Here at Portland Painting & Restoration we are in the business of protecting surfaces & relationships.

Primarily a full-​service painting company with a few carpenters, we have expanded our range of expertise to include other services in the residential arena:

1. Interior Painting, Exterior Painting, Custom Painting, Staining, Refinishing, & Color Consulting.

2. Exterior & Interior Repair & upgrades: Trim, siding, Decks, Porches, Steps, Pergolas, decking, & Dry Rot Repair, and structural repair.

3. Certified Lead Safe Paint Removal

4. We also team up with a few other contractors to be able to provide all of your homes external needs: Floor sanding (primarily front porches/​decks), Gutters, Window Restoration, and color consulting.

History

Established in 2009.

I moved to the Portland from Milwaukee, WI where I was a painter for 10 years. From 2003 – 2008 I held the RMI License & managed TCP Painting here in Portland, OR (the owner lived in Seattle). It was a great mentoring process with many great lessons learned.

I opened Portland Painting & Restorations in 2009 and have continued down the same path with many of the same employees, clients & practices. In business you never stop growing & learning new lessons & practices. PPR Services has evolved to a confident team of great people producing wonderful projects and happy clients.

I’m so very fortunate & grateful to be part of the community that makes this great city that much nicer to look at.

Business Owner

Professionally: I was born & raised in Milwaukee, WI. I painted professionally in Milwaukee for 9 years prior to moving west in 2000. Like so many after visiting, I fell in love with the mountains, ocean/​surfing, gorge, desert, and people. Shortly after moving to Portland I took over another painting company; TCP-​based out of Seattle where the owner lives. I held the license & managed TCP for 6 years prior to starting PPR, and slowly took over all the responsibilities of running a that business. My experiences as a painter & running another company under the helpful watchful eye of owner has merited the confidence to manage PPR responsibly and professionally and am very proud of PPR its evolution over the years.

Personal life: I am very fortunate & a happily married to my amazing wife. We have our first little one and looking to have another. We also have an old sweet dog, and a stray cat that adopted us. In short I’ll take a camp out & campfire verses a club or pub anytime.
