Portland Short Bus

Really enjoyed the ease and quality of service. The Portland Short Bus took us to some great Urban wineries that I wouldn’t have known about before! Our driver, Ian, kept us on time, let us play our own music, and was very accommodating. Great for groups!

We had a fantastic time. Used the Short Bus for a Bachelorette Party this weekend. The driver was a great sport, friendly, on time and helped keep us on track for the day. The tour that was put together by Nicole was perfect. All the wineries were accommodating and lots of fun. The price point is spot on and we can’t wait to have an excuse to book another tour. Thanks so much to our Driver Ian for putting up with all of our 90s boy band music. Can’t recommend it enough.

We had the best time on the short bus for my husband’s 30^th birthday. Nicole was awesome to plan with and our driver Ian went above and beyond, doing a mixer run for us while we were at a bar, letting us extend our party by 2 hours. It was the perfect party bus! We will use them again! Highly recommend!

Halloween night was our second time using Portland Short Bus for our private events and we’ve had nothing short of amazing nights both times! Nicole (one of the owners) is so great to work with and was so helpful with any and all questions we had. Ian our Halloween night driver was so awesome too. Our other driver for the bachelorette party last year, Ryan was stellar too! If you’re on the fence or thinking about short bus for an event do it! You won’t regret it.

Nicole was our tour guide/​driver and she rocks! She played our music requests and in general just picked up on our vibe to make the tour even better.
I love that there are a number of urban wineries to choose from, so the tour could be different depending on when you go.
The magnets on the bus ceiling are a nice touch. Seriously, what could possibly be better than an afternoon drinking (and eating) and being driven around? Not much…
Online reservations were super easy. The prices are affordable, so you actually have some money left to buy wines!

I went on a public tour of Portland Urban Wineries by myself and had a blast! The rest of the passengers and I were exchanging cards and Twitter handles by the second stop.
Loved the atmosphere, loved the destinations, loved the price, and the drinking ON the bus! I will totally be scheduling something else with the PDX short bus any time we have out of town guests!

Spent the weekend leading up to New Years eve in Portland. It was our first time in this amazing city and we had no idea what to do for New Years eve. After doing some quick online research we ran across the Portland Short Bus experience. Signed up and
in a word… AMAZING. Not just a typical drunken spring break experience but rather genuinely nice people, fun itinerary and amazing hosts (Kyle and Nicole). Not knowing Portland at all, we got to experience several bars in several different areas of town. Kyle was the host on our bus and I can’t say enough of how fun it was. I look forward to next year… the Portland Short Bus is definetely worth a try… you may just LOVE IT!

We signed up for their «New Years Eve Bar Crawl.» Kyle and Nicole each hosted one bus for the evening. Kyle and Nicole are fun and genuine people who seem to really care about the well being of each of their reveler passengers. The crawl took us to great bars we had never heard of… our favs being Knock Back and Church. We cheered in the New Year at the top of Rocky Butte before heading to our last pub, Slammers.
The arrangements went off without a hitch, and we had a great time both on the bus and in the various bars. The thing we really appreciated was being dropped off at our home at the end of the night. Well worth the extra $$ we paid for this shindig.
We will definitely be signing up for more of their events, with our eye on their upcoming Nomance over Valentines.

How could I have forgotten to Unilocal Portland Short Bus?! Last year for the BF’s surprise dive bar tour birthday, I rented the bus, invited some of our closest friends and we had the time of our lives! IT WAS AWESOME!!! I’ve recommended it to so many people. GREAT EFFIN IDEA, PSB!

I recently rented the 14 person short bus for a trip to 3 wineries in the Oregon Gorge to celebrate finishing school. Everything was absolutely perfect. Planning the trip was easy, the person I worked with to get everything scheduled was easy to get a hold of and gave me all of the necessary details to make sure the day went smoothly. Our bus showed up right on time and the driver was great. We made it to all 3 wineries and had fun listening to music and dancing in between stops. I would definitely recommend this company, it was an awesome experience!

Okay, got that out of the way. I was lucky enough to encounter the PDX Short Bus for a Poles & Tacos tour — yes that’s right — strip clubs and taco joints! You know it’s goin to be awesome the second the bus pulls up because it straight up says SHORT BUS. Once we all got our butts on the bus, the driver had a few simple rules (basically don’t be a big fat moron) and we were on our way. You can drink, dance & sing to your hearts content while being merrily driven around. There’s also a ton of magnents and décor to goof around with. AND you can bring your iPod for music so make an awesome playlist.
Now, you’re giong to get a lot of looks but those looks are of jealousy. Who doesn’t want to be on the party short bus? The driver was great (no awkward, abrupt stopping or jerking driving which would be no bueno whilst drinking) and super nice.
Next time you want a party bus, here’s your perfect place!

We set off on a Tour of PDXXX Tacos and Strip Clubs… A Pink Taco Tour, if you will.
I loved that the bus is always accessible. Even though the driver might not be in the bus, you always have access to the booze you stashed in the bus.
All those rules that teachers and bus drivers told you on your school bus is bulldoody. I stood up the whole time the bus was moving and didn’t die or break my neck. I consumed large quantities of drinks while the bus was moving and it didn’t explode. I was loud as heck and the bus driver didn’t have a stroke. The Portland Short Bus does away with those stupid rules of sitting down, being quiet and not drinking.
The looks you get from the unsuspecting public is priceless. Yes! We are partying on a Short Bus! My favorite thing was drunk singing to bicyclist next to the bus in motion. Then they get all freaked out, but then they see that I’m on a Short Bus, then I get looks of pity and concern. «Awww poor guy.» Yay! Drunk Melvin on a Short Bus!

Goodbye, ever cabbing to a crawl again, hello, Portland Short Bus! I have nothing but positive things to say about this fine local company who helped me realize my long-​standing dream of a little event I like to call Poles & Tacos 2013.
The booking was friendly, easy, and simple, and all done over email. No phone calls for AB? Extra star. My co-​conspirator, Mary B, and I laid out our proposal, put down a small deposit, and it was smooth sailing the whole rest of the way. Just some quick confirmations of our route and timelines, and that was that.
Our driver, Ryan, was laid back and friendly. The interior of the bus was super clean and housing lots of fun magnetic letters and other things to play with, not to mention a few chalkboards and OH HELLO, is that my favorite Hall and Oates album?! Before we embarked on our #PDXXX journey of strip clubs and taquerias, Ryan had a quick safety memo, we signed a waiver, and then that was it for business talk. After that was all party, all the time.
Short Bus provides a cooler, a bin for empties, and plug ins to the sound system for your iPod, phone, etc. Please, people, do yourself a favor and make a bad-​ass playlist, because yo azz will be dancing on the bus. If you get on that thing without custom tunes, you don’t deserve to be there.
They have organized, themed tours frequently (like Distillery Row, Halloween, FestiBus, Urban Wineries), or you can book ‘em for your own private party. I have half a mind to book another one and just tell them to drive around the whole time. Drinking and singing on the bus was probably my favorite part of the whole night. Don’t judge, I’ll offset the carbon footprint!
An enthusiastic thumbs up for the Short Bus. We had a blast. I will definitely book this again in the future. P&T13 was just the first try… I’m gonna get really good at this.
