Portland Trolley

Update to prior review: After leaving the review the driver for the company followed up to offer some reconciliation for the trouble. I do believe that they will make an honest effort to meet customer needs in the future. I think that I had an unusual situation in that a trolley broke down. I would recommend, however, that if you’re taking the Christmas lights tour that you schedule during a weekend, as the weekday tours may be subject to cancellation due to lack of interest.

This was our first time on this tour which we found through Groupon. It was worth every penny… and more! The trolley pulled up on time and Larry, the driver, was as friendly as could be. He greeted everyone with a smile, shook hands with us, explained where we’d go, and off we went.
There were 25 of us on the tour and we visited three wineries: Forest Edge Vineyard in Oregon City, Whiskey Hill Winery in Canby, and Archer Vineyard in Newberg. We traveled a lot of miles through backroads on our three-​stop tour, and Larry was patient at every stop. We had about an hour to sample wines and eat snacks at each beautiful vineyard and never felt rushed.
After nearly five hours we headed back. Several people on the tour said they’d do this again. We would too. In a heartbeat.
