Always feel very welcomed by Dr Dan when I come in. I was completely scared of going to the dentist before but Dr Dan has a way of making you feel at ease with his goofy banter. He is very personable and goes out of his way to help you understand what’s best for you. The guys knows things that your normal dentist won’t. He even went out of his way to save me money on all my dental work when he didn’t have to, which I was very thankful for. Love this place!

I have had an aversion to dental work my whole life.
Period.
Its not like I have a total trench mouth, either. I have always had great teeth my whole life and rarely need anything done. But I just have a hard time with someone doing any kind of work in my mouth.
That being said, I was very glad when a co-​worker referred me to Raleigh Hills Dental about 8 years ago. Since then, I have been coming here exclusively. I have no problem giving them a 5 stars, «TOP SHELF» rating.
They always go at your pace and work with you very patiently and professionally. The staff, as well as the doctors, are really the best.
Whenever anyone asks me for a Dentist recommendation– this is the place.
I hope they stick around forever.

Good luck getting in. I use an OHP dental plan, I’m sure if I had private insurance it would be different but they (the receptionists) are completely indifferent to feelings. Sometimes a pregnant girl should NOT have wait 3 months for a visit. Two days before I was supposed to go in they called and said there would be no doc in the office so they had to reschedule me for one of the only 2 days a week I can’t be there. (it’s Feb 21., I started making inquiries as to availability in late Dec.) Like I said, good freaking luck.
After this ordeal I don’t even want to meet the dentist, at least not if they are as unprofessional at the desk «help».

This dental office is just lovely. I can’t say one thing about their staff or care. I’ve lived all over the country (In every state) and I must say the dr. here is top notch!
He fixed a root canal that was done improperly at another office and am just so pleased.

I’ve had bad luck with dentists in the past. The one i had while i was a teenager was such a hack that i honestly can’t believe he hasn’t been sued out of business.
When you add 7-​odd years of horrible, tooth-​damaging dentistry to a decade of no dental insurance and frequent cross-​country moves, you end up in bad shape.
Dr. Dan is doing his best to make it right, though.
On your fist visit here, they’ll do a full dental exam. It takes more than an hour. They x-​ray everything, then do visual exams, and they work out a dental plan (if you need one more than ‘come back for a cleaning’) right there with you. They’ll listen to your input and explain why they think which things need doing in what order.
You’ll have a slightly different experience depending which dentist you get. Dr. Dan is a bit of a ham, and banters extensively with his assistants. His brother (Robert) is more quiet and serious.
They’re able to do some dental surgeries themselves, too, so if you end up needing something more than a filling, you won’t get farmed out to some dental surgeon you’ve never met before. They can’t do full sedation, but they can’t give you anti-​anxiety and amnesia meds so you at least don’t have to remember it.
They have early early hours two days a week, so you can get your cleaning in before work instead of having to duck out in the middle of the day.
Also, the building itself is lovely. They renovated a cottage for use as their offices, and it’s the least Dental-​Office-​y dental office i’ve ever been in. There isn’t that smell of Dentistry to get your blood pressure up even though you’re just sitting in the waiting room.
