Dr. Henshaw has done five gum graphs for me. All five of them are beautiful. One of them covered my front tooth that has not had a full gum over it since I was 12 years old. I can’t believe the change in the in my appearance as well as the health of my teeth. My teeth are no longer sensitive and painful. I highly recommend Dr Henshaw.

I was referred by my dentist to have gum recession grafts done on several of my teeth. I had done the surgery before and knew what to expect and wasn’t looking forward to it. However; Dr. Henshaw explained what he was going to do and how he was going to make microscopic incessions on the roof of my mouth to get the skin grafts needed to complete my surgery.
The surgery took about an hour but Dr. Henshaw kept checking to make sure I was ok. And tried to make it as painless as possible. In the end the surgery wasn’t as painful as I expected and the recovery process was much easier than the previous surgery done by another doctor.
Even though I don’t recommend having this type of surgery to begin with, but if you need to have it done Dr. Henshaw and his office is the place to go.

I was referred to Dr. Henshaw by my dentist after finding out i needed to have one of my front teeth removed and replaced with an implant.
Obviously I was pretty worried about how the procedure was going to go.
Dr. Henshaw is extremely knowledgable and very confident in his abilities. The final results are beautiful and 2 years after the procedure I haven’t had a single issue. I recently went back for a gum graft and again, it went great. Because he uses a microsurgical method the healing times are much quicker and over discomfort much lower than traditional methods.
He isn’t cheap but when you are dealing with such delicate, detailed work, you don’t want to look for bargains. His office staff is great as well.
Hopefully I don’t need any more periodontal work for a LONG time, but if I do, Dr. Henshaw is the only person I would trust.

He knows his stuff, has impressive surgical stats. His attention to detail is incredible, especially in grafting and stitches. After healing you would never know anything happened– his method is the least invasive. Unlike standard surgeries where you feel all torn up and disshelved, the tissue really wasn’t disturbed much!
Had a small problem a few days after surgery– but his staff was quick to respond (even over email!) and they got me back in and he fixed it all up– so they really take care of you.
Only reason it’s not 5 stars is a bad experience when taking mold of my mouth (which felt like waterboarding with the goo dripping down my throat). And then to find out they didn’t even need a mold!
Otherwise highly recommended.
