The food is made fresh to order, and tastes incredible! Everything I have had is delicious. Great seasoning, and you taste how fresh her ingredients are. Not to mention the prices are great. $ 6 for most everything will get you so much food! The owner is one of the nicest people on the planet! She learns your name right away and always knows your«usual».

I stopped by this cart only because it was open, and on my way home. I am SO glad I did! The food is delicious, she is good at giving it the spicy kick when asked for, the portions are great, and from what I saw pretty much everything is $ 6(aside from the sandwiches and drinks). Can’t beat that, restaurant quality, cart price. Their spicy basil rice is absolutely delicious, and when I asked for it hot she didn’t mess around. I get the pad thai regularly as a quick, easy something to take home and it’s been consistently good. I’ve tried a couple other dishes and enjoyed everything I’ve tried. Did I mention it’s all super cheap at $ 6? I think that actually makes it taste better. My one complaint is that they don’t have thai iced coffee. They have thai iced tea, but no coffee. Boooo! I have actually gone to other thai places on occasion for that reason alone, but the food is so good at Roy Thai I will never stop coming here altogether. Tip: it takes about 10 minutes to prepare the food, so don’t come expecting it to be ready and waiting. This is seriously fresh and cooked to order.

PADKEEMAO!!! Large portion, Perfect spice. Noodles cooked to perfection. Excellent vibrant flavor and only $ 6. OMG I’m in heaven. This might be a problem… More to follow. By the way, the woman in the window is the nicest person. We discussed some thai food. I asked her where she gets her Kiffer lime leaves and she gave me directions. She then went a step further and gave me some out of the freezer stock that was already shreaded. What a sweatheart! We will be back very soon.

I miss Nina! We loved her Drunken Noodles and Curry when she was on Mississippi. Now she’s so far away! Come back!

Great service + good food gets five stars from me. Nina(the owner), is a very kind woman who makes me happy to keep coming back. I’ve tried the noodle dishes here and I thought the best is pad kee mao.

Excellent food. Every dish I’ve tried is amazing. Thai fried rice is probably my favorite Nothing over $ 6. It’s only 3 blocks from my work so I’ve been eating there a lot. The only problem, and this one is a big one for me: it’s never open on time. The sign says 11:30 am but it’s usually around noon. Not good for someone with only a 30 minute lunch that has their heart set on thai food.

I’M STOKED! ^_^ No longer do I have to drive to Mississippi(the old location) or downtown for awesome, authentic, fresh, cheap Thai food! ROYTHAI(and the nicest owner ever, Nina) have arrived! Sadly, they replaced the empty spot left by Kim Jung Grillin’, but seriously, I’ve been waiting for SE to get some awesome Thai cart grub for years and now I’m just 5 minutes away from lunch or dinner! :-D Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao my favorite staples always worthy of your dollar(almost everything is ~$ 6), but their curries and stir-fries are very respectable, too! Oh yeah, and the portions are quite generous! Beware: If you eat a whole dish, you will be stuffed and have a guaranteed post-lunch food coma running the risk of napping on the job! With fantastic BBQ(Leroy’s) and Thai on one street corner, I’m pretty sure I’ll be spending most of my lunches here from now on :-)
