Courtney is a true rock star! I took my daughter to her not having much of a clue how I wanted her hair cut. I prevailed upon Courtney to use her expertise, and we weren’t disappointed! My daughter looked amazing! Courtney was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. The salon space itself is great, too — airy and spacious, not claustrophobic like many other salons. An awesome experience overall!

This salmon is the best! Nyssa and Courtney are experts with color and amazing artists with hair styles. Nyssa tackles my thick, course and curly hair and turns it into a manageable and modern look.
I’ve also seen a recent cut by new stylist Ella that was beautiful. She is just the latest edition to this wonderful and warm team!

I’ve been getting my hair cut, colored and styled by Nyssa, owner, for years. Nyssa is a very talented stylists and is extremely knowledgeable about color. Both Nyssa and Courtney are terribly sweet and I always enjoy my time in the salon. Their prices are competitive and closely match comparable salons.
I would highly recommend either Nyssa or Courtney to anyone looking for a very experience stylist/​colorist.

I love this place. These two girls take care of you. Feels like a spa when you go in. Nyssa is a goddess with the scissors (yes scissors… not clippers). As a guy, I have a hard time finding hair stylists who don’t just want to use the buzzer to trim my hair. Anyhow these ladies are great. Each time I go in there I feel great when I leave. I am so glad they have moved to the Hollywood neighborhood. I definitely recommend them to my friends.

Nyssa is amazing! I have really long, straight, thick hair that typically I tie back in a pony-​tail because I have no clue on what to do with it.
I just saw Nyssa for the first time, she did her magic and I can honestly say my hair has never looked better! I explained that I am a «low maintenance hair kinda girl» and she totally gave me a style that I love!
I HIGHLY recommend this place!
BTW: they are in Hollywood now (not Alberta like it says on Unilocal address)

Nyssa, owner of Salon De Donato has been doing my hair for YEARS! She’s fantastic– knows exactly what she’s doing… tons of compliments after a visit.
If you’re in need of a good blowout… duh, she’s the queen of great blowouts!
Schedule an appointment– you won’t regret it!
ps: the salon has moved, now located in the Hollywood District on 42nd.

I know some ladies that get their hair did here and they look good cause of it. Now I know that no one gives a hoot where a guy gets his hair cut, by my hair is a challenge. I’m in my 30’s and my hair is still thick as all get-​out. I could go somewhere 5 times and get one good haircut. But at Salon De Donato, I look sharp as shit every time.
