I love second I none! The owner is very kind and always willing to help me find what I need. There’s a great selection of clothing as well as toys. In the front of the sore they have a very sweet jewelry case with tiara’s that never fail to attract the little one’s eyes. They also have women’s sizes up to XL. I do my own shopping here and I usually never leave without some sort of designer piece for a steal of a price. Do take the time to stop by STN and get a great deal! Help your local small business community.

Strangely unfriendly staff. I thought I would drop by the store today with my boy to see what they have for snow suits. When I walked in the door there did not appear to be any other customers there. There were 3 employees at the front desk. One was texting and the two others were on computers. None of them as much as glanced up, let alone acknowledging that a customer entered the store. As I made my way by the desk I started to think«well this is just a bit strange. Am I still in Portland.» I glanced around for about 45 seconds and decided perhaps this was not a place for me to spend my money. I then made my way back past the checkout and finally as I was stepping out the door I had someone yell«can I help you». I politely said no with a smile and left. So you see I can’t attest to the quality of their merchandise or their prices. I really hate to give anyone 1 star but as a small business owner myself it drives me crazy to walk in a place like this and see that they are unwilling to make the smallest, easiest, and perhaps most important step to secure my business. Please make your own decision on patronizing this store. I sincerely hope this was only my experience… Not shocking it is now out of business.

I have been in this store a number of times looking at the children’s clothing, and I have yet to emerge having purchased anything. I think this is a pretty expensive little used children’s clothing store, and I often think I could find the items new for less money, which is not what I want to be thinking when I’m about to buy someone’s used stuff. Also, the parking here is terrible. The saving grace is Baker and Spice(with their tempting almond croissants and delicious lattes), is nearby to console my daughter and I when we emerge empty handed. sigh. Okay, well, she chooses cookies and hot chocolate, same diff.

Second To None is our local children’s consignment shop. We LOVE these ladies, and the community they have built around their shop! I cannot make a quick trip into this store, because I am always compelled to stop and chat… the staff are guaranteed to be the friendliest people I encounter on a given day!!! Sincerely invested in contributing to the Hillsdale community, and always offering super-cute items at great prices… we are blessed to have STN as our neighborhood resale haven!!! It’s worth the trip into Hillsdale, even if you live a distance away.
