Stopped by here a few weeks ago at the very end of the day to get a quote on some small chip repairs on my wife’s Corolla. I was met by a smiling tech who took a quick look and told me to just drop it off in the morning and he’d have it fixed in no time – was quoted roughly $ 25 – 30 for the fix.
I came back the next day and left the car with the same cheerful tech. Picked the car up at the end of the day and the car was ready to go. The amiable owner was in the office and between the two of them they agreed that:
THERE WAS NO CHARGE!
This shop is great. If I ever have any serious paint or auto body needs, I know where to go.

Polite employees. Took the time to find a hard-​to-​find part. Fair price. I would go back.

I had a slightly different experience with Sharpe than most of the reviewers here. After the estimate was sent to the insurance company my car was declared a total loss. I’m giving these guys 5 stars for the EXCELLENT service they provided throughout the multi-​week process of getting the insurance company to make a decision on the repairs. They were always available to field my phone calls, and gave me fantastic advice that was way outside their responsibility as mechanics. This is the first time I’ve ever had to deal with a major accident on a car I owned, and it was huge having someone available to answer my questions and provide insight into how the claim process works.
They even went through the damage with me and stepped through the «must fix items», as I opted to take the payout, keep the car and do the work myself for an aesthetically inferior, but operational vehicle.

These guys have everything you want in an auto body shop: professionalism, speed, and skill. I’ve been there a few times for estimates and they are always welcoming and quick. When they weren’t able to fit me in before my cross-​country move, they were more than happy to recommend me to another shop (and they taped up my bumper for free as a temporary fix so it wouldn’t bounce around when I was on my way to the other shop). They work with many insurance companies and take care of the paperwork. And most importantly, they do great work!

Dave got my car in right away to fix another shop’s mistakes. Not only did they get it done in one day, but they also took the time to clean and detail my car. The staff was awesome to work with and, although I hope I never have occasion to use a body shop again, this will be the one I go to if I do.

I only wish I damaged my car all the time so I could come here more frequently… oh wait that’s right, I’m a terrible driver who will probably be back at the end of the week. At least I know these guys won’t be screwing me over next time I’m in! I had an unsightly dent on my front bumper and was worried it was going to be in the several hundred dollar range to fix said auto malady. Not only did I get an honest answer, he also was able to push out the bump in the parking lot, free of charge! They did a great touch up job to the spot for only $ 20 and even washed the inside and outside of my car. I love these guys! Come give them your business; they aren’t out to scam the obvious schmuck and are generally very friendly. They’ve earned a customer for life!

These guys are the real deal; probably the best customer service I’ve experienced from any type of automotive shop. They don’t just do great work, they really go the extra mile. I got my car back literally looking brand new – maybe they should open a detailing shop, too. There was one issue with an electrical connection not being reconnected after reattaching the rear bumper, so I brought it back in and they stopped what they were doing to come fix it right there. I was in and out in a minute. It’d be nice if I never needed to take my car to a body shop again, but it’s good to know that Sharp is around should I need to.

Admittedly, I have no real experience with body shops but from the first phone call to Sharp through to the moment I stared in wonder at my seemingly-​brand new Honda, it was a terrific experience. Other than, y’know, having bashed in the front fender. Everyone I dealt with was extremely helpful and thorough and Dave handled all the backstage work with insurance and the rental company (Enterprise, yay!).
The shop, incidentally, is pristine which is not something I expect in auto work. Dave probably isn’t old enough to get this one, but I saw Gene Winfield’s shop many years ago and it was a pigsty in comparison.

This is a GREAT auto body shop. The guy who manages it, Dave, is fabulous. He’s a quiet, serious guy who knows cars. Not an extrovert, but I’d rather have a guy who gets the job done right than a charismatic car guy who tries to swindle me.
Two extra stars:
First, time estimate is accurate. Very important for busy professionals who have to take off time to do errands during normal business hours. Dave said three days and he called me in two and half to tell me my car was good to go.
Second, this is an HONEST auto body shop. AllState my insurance gave me what I was told was a ‘low estimate’ at $ 380. Dave looked at the estimate and asked me why it included an armrest replacement for auto body damage. I had no idea, mumbled something about having to take the car door apart. Dave asked me the same question again when I came back to drop the car off. Still no idea. When I came back to pick up the car, he told me he hadn’t replaced the armrest because it was unnecessary, thus leaving my total at $ 340 — saving me $ 40. After hearing endlessly about auto body places that throw in extra costs, I was really impressed with having met a shop that actually helped me save money.
Extra props to Dave and his great team here. I hope I don’t have to go to an auto body shop again soon, but if I do I won’t hesitate to take it back to Sharp Auto Body.

I had an unfortunate accident with my Subaru Forester. The insurance company listed Sharp as one of their preferred providers, so I checked their « Unilocal» reviews and saw they were very good. This is not common for auto body shops. The guys at Sharp treated me like family. They were so nice and friendly. The insurance company set up the appointment date to drop off the car, but what I didn’t know was that that was only supposed to be the «assessment» date to look at it. We showed up with our rental car ready to drop off our damaged subaru. Instead of doing the assessment and sending us away for a few days they said they would take it in right away. It was thursday before a 3 day weekend so they estimated that they would not get the parts in until mid the next week and have it done by Friday. They called on Wed. and it was done! 2 days before the estimate. Is it possible to have a car look better after an accident? Because thats how it looked when we got it back. New hood, fender, bumper lights. IT looks AMAZING! seriously good work. I highly recommend Sharp and will go there again myself if I ever need body work again. A++

I recently made a «mistake» in my vehicle, and needed to have some minor body work done. After searching around to see who had a good reputation in town, and being reminded by my wife that Sharp had worked on our other car several years previously, I took my baby in for an estimate. Dave was great, and asked me if I was looking to simply have the «mistake» bent back into shape, or if I was looking to go all the way with a «like new» repair. I opted to go for the «like new», and within a few minutes I had a detailed written estimate. After going home and thinking it over, I called to make an appointment.
The day after I dropped my vehicle off, I got a call from Dave. My first reaction was to assume that something had gone awry. Turns out my first reaction was wrong. Dave said that they had started into the repair, and that it had actually bent back out quite well. He suggested that I drop by and check it out, and if I still wanted to go ahead with the much more expensive repair, they could do it, but he really thought I should take a look first.
When I got there, the only visible evidence that anything had been damaged was a small scuff mark at the extreme lower corner of the front door, which is probably only visible to me. I also suspect that with a little elbow grease, even that little mark can be buffed out. Needless to say, I was quite happy with the much simpler repair, and was very happy to have my vehicle back at a vastly lower cost than the original estimate.
Aside from the beautiful work, of course, was the fact that, even though we had already agreed on, and I had already approved the more expensive service, Sharp saw an opportunity to show some exceptional customer service, and also demonstrate the kind of honesty that one really hopes to find in any retail or service business.
Very well done, and Sharp is now «My Body Shop»!

Went in to get an estimate, guy was friendly and got it done in no time! If you’re in the area feel free to look at the pics inside the office, serious business!

I was rear ended and one of the options I had to take my car into was Sharp Auto Body. After doing some research and reading the positive Unilocal reviews, I decided to call Sharp. I spoke with JP who was very informative and helpful. We scheduled an appt. for the next day and I took my car in. My bumper had to be replaced and painted. JP ordered the parts and I took my car back the next week. As JP promised, it took 3 days. The bumper looked great, It looked the same as the day I took it off the lot! A bonus is that I have a lifetime warranty on the bumper! JP and Sharp took care of all the paperwork with the insurance company which was awesome. All I had to do was take the car in, pick it up and sign the final documents! Accidents are always a pain in the butt, but JP and Sharp made it as easy as possible for me and my car looks great!

Stopped into Sharp after noticing the trunk of my car was tagged after a morning meeting. I was nervous that it was going to be a big hassle to get the pain taken off my car.
The man who helped me (whose name unfortunately is escaping me) was INCREDIBLY nice and helpful! He took care of my car immediately and didn’t charge me a dime. The paint on my car looked better than when I pulled in.
Customer service was excellent, quality of service was excellent — I highly recommend Sharp to others!

These guys are the very best! My car looks like brand new. The whole process was painless, they were courteous, friendly and fast. I highly recommend!

Started out my birthday this year with discovering that some dummy tried to steal my car, and didn’t even succeed. Ugh!
Did leave all the pieces of my smashed up ignition and console though, plus the brick and metal rod used during failed theft. Vandalism is so dumb.
Anyway, at referral of my insurance company, I took the olé ashtray on four wheels to this shop to get it checked out and for an estimate and it was a smooth, five-​star experience. In the end, decided not to get the ignition area replaced, but if I’m ever again in need of body work, this shop will be my first call.
Quick, friendly, free estimate, no shenanigans. They kindly put the pieces back together for me, and I was in and out to pick it up in mere moments.

I had an unfortunate, unavoidable accident (a pet ran out in front of my car), which I don’t want to trouble you about, but let’s just say that my car’s whole carriage had shifted and a headlight was out. I was going 15 – 20 in a 30 MPH zone since I was going to stop for coffee. I’m glad I wasn’t going the speed limit.
That said, I called Sharp’s and they were able to get me in that day. We set up an appointment on the phone and they were efficient and friendly, a great combo for a car place!
I brought my car there. Since the damage was so extensive, I brought in my insurance, State Farm. It turns out they work with Sharp’s and regard it as a trustworthy and efficient. So true!
From there, my insurance and Sharp’s worked together to figure out what needed to be done. All I had to do was pay the deductible, which turned out to be very manageable.
Sharp’s also set up a car rental for me (since our other car decided to have brake problems that same day. Funny. When it rains it pours, and we know that in Portland, don’t we? ;)).
Sharp’s took care of everything. And, fast. And, they also washed my car inside and out. Awesome.

Great service! I needed two window mechanisms fixed and decided to try Sharp. When he opened up the driver side he found that it didnt need to be replaced but tightened so no charge. However the passenger side he found that the window bottom was broken and needed to be replaced.
He told me that a new one would be $ 280 but he went ahead and found a used one for $ 80.
