Shell Gas

Awful! Always the highest priced gas in the area! Also, I’m well over 21 and not only do I get carded here I feel like I’m being harassed about my legitimate ID! They should just have a way to scan IDs if they are that concerned about fakes. It’s wrong to give someone a hard time when they are legally aloud to do what they are doing!

I’ve always be a fan of shell gas. My car has always run better with their gas and the price is fair. I feel bad for the attendants though. It’s cold and nobody tips.

Unlike the other reviewer who is obviously not from around these parts (complaining about not being able to pump your own gas? Really? Welcome to Oregon) this is my neighborhood gas station and convenience store and I give it five stars for serving that function perfectly. For those who live in the neighborhood, it’s nice to be able to get gas, smokes, beer, and junk food all in 5 minutes with friendly service (who eventually learns your name) and reasonable (albeit not rock bottom) prices for a gas station. My only complaint is they aren’t open ²⁴⁄₇ — a few times I’ve needed gas very early in the morning I’ve had to go somewhere out of the way. But that isn’t enough to dock it in my book.

Mein Gott, what is the deal with this place?
Most obvious, this place is Always considerably more expensive than any other gas station I end up going to. Should I find myself having to go here because I’m running my poor car on fumes and I’d like to make it to work without stalling, I’ll only put a few bucks in because the price gouging here is insane. On these occasions, I find myself waiting eons for the guy to come and pump my gas, and then there is a new evolutionary period after the pumping is done for him to come back and let me go. Oh Oregon, can I *please* just pump my own gas sometimes? Please? The quickie mart is on the bigger side, but the prices in there are crazy high as well, I guess that’s the price you pay for… convenience? They do have a pretty sizeable wine selection (that I haven’t partaken of)…for a gas station. I did notice a typically 6 – 7 dollar bottle of fine shamp-​anya is 12 at this place, so there ya go.
I gave them one bonus star for containing their gas supply successfully and not blowing up the neighborhood.
