Our bikes were tearing up the grass, so I wanted to make a stone pathway. Smith Rock has about an acre of rock stacks of all colors and shapes. I got a colorful mix of large smooth tumbled stepping stones, and they cost much less than the ugly formed stepping «stones» you can buy at a nursery, say. The people I worked with were all very courteous and helpful.
They have all manner of rock, from gravel to boulders, by the pound or by the ton.

Seems like if the noise would bother you. Living in an Industrial area was a poor choice
