Subway

A subway is a subway I guess, but the veggies seem especially brown and underwhelming at this one. I don’t frequent subways so maybe this is just the usual quality but it totally grossed me out. Friendly staff but def not coming back — probably to any subway ever.

So, I forgot to bring a lunch today, so I thought that I would venture over to Subway since they happen to be super close AND have gluten free bread. Seemed like a good idea at the time. So, I head over at 11:30am, one gentleman is ahead of me in line and there are two people working behind the counter. No other patrons at this point in time.
I go to order my sandwich and when asked what kind of bread, I say «Gluten Free». The girl helping me gets pissed off at the fact that I say this and dramatically takes off her gloves and starts huffing and puffing as she gets the gluten free bread out and new gloves on, etc. I apologize to her for the inconvenience of such efforts, and she continues to make a huge deal over the gluten free bread, at this point a few more patrons arrive after me. And the girl continues to make things super awkward in her horrible demeanor towards the gluten free bread. In my head I am wishing for this encounter to come to a quick end. After she begrudgingly completes my sandwich, she passes it off to the next person to ring up my order.
This gentleman is much nicer to me and although he struggled to locate the gluten free bread option, he is much better than the girl who had assembled said gluten free sandwich. Overall, I will not be coming back to this place. The sandwich turned out great, but the customer service from that one snotty brat of a girl, spoiled the whole thing. Such a shame.

Ok this may shock some people but this Subway is… a Subway. All Subway branches have a great similarity. And by that I mean they have the same menu, a matching décor, and its all brightly lit. Where they differ is in service and somewhat in price.\
This one is in a good location, They give a Unilocal checking discount and the service was pretty good.
Like all Subways you can eat healthy if you want… This time I didn’t want. Meatball sandwich with olives and mustard and cheese, chips and a pop. I’ll pay for it later but It tasted good and made me be not hungry anymore and that’s what I wanted.
