Dr. Ueeck was great. He took the time to answer all my questions and went over options for the treatment I needed. He was recommended to me by a local orthodontist, and definitely did not disappoint. He is very knowledgeable and I would recommend him.

Came in for consult for wisdom teeth extraction.
They were extremely late seeing my son, and there were xray machine issues.
Not quite satisfied with their practice. Seems optimized for volume, not personalized care.

I’ve been here twice now, each time for removing a molar. My oral surgeon here was referred to me by both my dentist and my endodontist on the other side of town, both of whom are reputable.
The staff and my surgeon were friendly and supportive. Each time the extraction was relatively quick. The surgeon followed up in a phone call, as well. Each time there was a follow-​up appointment the next week.
I highly recommend these folks if you are in the unfortunate position of needing an oral surgeon.

Amazing! Not usually the first word that comes to mind when describing an impacted wisdom tooth extraction. I was pretty nervous going in. My insurance would not cover any type of sedation, only a local anesthetic. Also, I have had a bad extraction experience.
I was referred to Dr. Beadnell by my dental office, which does not have an oral surgeon. So, this was my first time there. The office is nice and clean, also somebody definitely has a passion for purple. The staff was very professional and friendly and after meeting Dr. Beadnell I started to relax a little. He has a very calm, confident demeanor and a good sense of humor. He was so quick and accurate with the numbing shots, I could tell he knew what he was doing. I had a chance to chat with his assistant Jennifer B, while I was waiting for my mouth to get numb. She also had a very warm personality that helped put my mind at ease.
When Dr. Beadnell came back, he and Jennifer got to work. They were like a couple of extraction ninjas, moving quickly and efficiently. I don’t think they even spoke to each other, they operated like one. It was very impressive. I thought he was just getting started, when Dr. Beadnell said it was out. He just had to put a couple of stitches in and I would be on my way. I was shocked! The whole thing only took a few minutes. This was a tooth I could not even see because it was under my gums, and he had it out in minutes! I was blown away.
On a side note. When I first got into the dentist chair, I asked for some Vaseline to put in the corners of my mouth. I have a condition were the corners of my mouth get dry and cracked. When at their worst the corners can get inflamed and look pretty ugly. I have had several doctors give me several opinions. Every thing from herpes (it is not) to a vitamin B deficiency. Dr. Beadnell took one look at my mouth and asked if I drooled in my sleep, I do. He explained that it is a common fungus that everyone has in their mouth. Between my sensitive skin and providing it with moisture every night, it was affecting the corners of my mouth. He prescribed me an ointment and three days later, my mouth looks normal. This was an issue I have had off and on my whole life. Something that was frustrating and made me self conscious. I did not even ask for diagnoses and he nailed it. Talk about a bonus!
I would recommend Dr. Beadnell to anyone who needs an extraction. I have never left a dental office with such a positive feeling. Who knows, he might just solve a problem you did not even ask him to.

I got an infected wisdom tooth extracted by Dr. Ueeck. He removed the tooth in about 10 minutes and I didn’t feel a thing. Recovery has been complication free and little to no facial swelling after. Also, the nurse Barb was so kind and helpful! She really helped the experience feel less scary and was very reassuring and supportive. Since the procedure was urger, they were able to schedule me in as quickly as possible, which was also very appreciated.

Dr. Beadnell and his amazing team removed all four of my wisdom teeth last week and it couldn’t have been more of a positive experience.
From the get-​go, Dr. Beadnell and team were extremely kind, professional, and educated me on the entire procedure. The surgery itself was quick, easy, and I woke up about an hour later feeling completely fine. The team made sure I was fully aware of the dos and do nots of recovery and truly cared about my well-​being. Dr. Beadnell himself even called me later that day to check-​in and see how recovery was going. It really means a lot when you can tell a doctor truly cares about his patients and isn’t just in it for the money. I’m a week out of surgery and feel great! Can’t thank Dr. Beadnell and his team enough.

Beautiful office and great docs but I was really surprised to have to pay for the entire visit cost at the beginning of my appointment given that I have fantastic insurance and it typically only takes dental offices about 5 minutes to confirm my coverage amount. I am confident I will eventually get most of my $$ back but I think it is an unusual payment policy. If I’d known that ahead of time, I likely would have picked another oral surgeon.

My son had a very positive experience with a complicated wisdom teeth extraction. We were very satisfied with the skill of the surgeon and the kindness of the staff. They were efficient and clear in all our dealings. All the purple is a bit overboard in the décor but we give them a pass on that!

I was referred to Dr. Beadnell to have a wisdom tooth pulled. Since I was concerned about nerve damage I asked him what the chances are that this could happen, (and how the after care would be), just in case. I was not prepared for what came next: He told me «Whatever happens is never the surgeons fault.» He then proceeded to tell me stories about what other patients had accused him of. He ended his lecture by asking, «If the light suddenly fell off the ceiling, would you accuse me of that as well?» I could not believe what I was hearing, and knew from that moment on that I would not let him touch my mouth. He told me to make an appointment with the front desk and his assistant would give me a prescription for antibiotics. I asked her if this is necessary and she told me: «Everyone gets them». I went to the front desk to pay my bill and was charged 50% more than I was quoted for the evaluation (no extra time or tests were done). When I complained, I was told that the woman I got the quote from is not here today and I would have to pay the full amount. I just wanted to get out of there, so I paid the full amount and left, never to return. Because of my experience, I totally believe reviewer ‘Jeanne D’ about her daughter ordeal. I found a wonderful Oral Surgeon in Tigard who studied the x-​rays ten times as long instead of telling me stories and only gives his patients antibiotics on a case by case basis.

Dr Ueeck did a dental implant on a front tooth for me a couple years ago, and I couldn’t be more pleased. He was super attentive as was his staff. They were very good with pain management, in fact it wasn’t an issue. they explained everything that was going to happen, and what was happening thru the surgery. They called and made sure I was okay the following day after surgery. And when the temp tooth came loose, Dr Ueeck called me back on a Sunday, and tightened it first thing the next day. I would come back to him anytime, although I hope I do not have to. (this situation was brought about by a mal-​performed root canal by another dentist at another practice. one that was so painful that it made me cry) I cannot tell you how happy I am to have my perfect smile back.

DO NOT COME HERE. THEY TREAT PATIENTS HORRIBLY AND ONLY THINK ABOUT THE MONEY THEY ARE MAKING.
I’ve been rescheduled twice. On the day of my appointment I arrived 10 minutes early only to be told that the doctor was doing surgery somewhere else and they didn’t know when he would be in. Apparently there was a room full of patients waiting for him as well.
The ones before me were checked in finally. But so was the person that had a later appointment. I’m still in the lobby doing this review and haven’t been called.
Then to make matters worse nobody told me I had to have someone IN THE OFFICE while I was getting my wisdom teeth removed. They told me I needed a ride during my consult. Tell me what is my roommate going to do if something goes wrong? Isn’t that why they have a staff of nurses and doctors?
I’m more annoyed by anything as this hole morning’s fiasco. So now my roommate has to drop what he’s doing and come back to sit in the lobby for who knows how long since the doctor is late.
Horrible horrible horrible.
Edit: it’s been nearly a year since my surgery. They severed a nerve while doing my surgery. Part of my face is still missing feeling. They said it was normal and should heal within a few weeks following the surgery. I’ve concluded that the surgeon was rushed and jam packed with patients waiting. He didn’t even put my IV in correctly the day of the surgery.
Take your business elsewhere or reschedule if there’s a room full of people.

Recently I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Petrisor at Sunset Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and I was very pleased with the outcome of the procedure. Dr. Petrisor and his staff were all very professional and friendly. The procedure was well explained on my initial visit and the procedure went very well without any complications. All my questions were thoroughly answered and my pain was well controlled. The staff gave me plenty of information on how to care for my mouth post surgery, and I haven’t encountered any problems.

Several weeks ago my 20 yr old daughter had her wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Steven Beadnell at Sunset Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. The initial procedure seemed to be successful. Unfortunately, one of the sockets developed a terrible infection and she needed to return to the office for followup. This is were it gets ugly… According to my daughter, Dr. Beadnell and his nurse physically restrained her while he scraped and cleaned the infected socket WITHOUT ANY anesthesia or Novacaine!!. My daughter was crying hysterically during and after the procedure. Her mouth was so sore she couldn’t even open it. To make matters worse after this violation of trust, when she called the office to complain, Dr. Beadnell denied what had happened and verbally bullied her. My daughter is too afraid to return to Dr. Beadnell for care, and we are seeking care from another dentist. It’s bad enough when a clinician makes a mistake and doesn’t apologize for it, but to intentionally take advantage because the client is young and inexperienced, and then bully them so they are afraid of you is unforgivable. I would never return to Dr. Beadnell or recommend him to anyone.
