LOL. We had a hotel less than a block from this area of food carts. I believe we stopped by Thai Kee Mao probably like 4 times throughout our stay in Portland — for the late night munchies and pre-hike fuel of course. Oh and the snack in between our other meals. We were fans of the crab pad kee mao. But we devoured all the dishes we ordered. You know how when you find something that’s pretty much guaranteed perfect for you each time? This was the answer for the guys in our group. They loved the extra spice that kicked you the next morning, the portion, the taste, and the price. They also have an ipad so you can used your credit card.

Came here for lunch today. We ordered a green curry beef and one mango sticky rice. Came out with a total of $ 11 The green curry wasn’t that good, I’ve tasted better. I didn’t like how it was so sweet and it wasn’t spicy at all. Added too much condensed milk in it. The portion was kinda small as well. Felt hungry after 10mins The mango sticky rice was not bad. On the side of the rice, I like the texture and flavor of it. But the mango could have been fresher. Some topping on top of the mango could have bring it a little more Puh-Zaz. Overall it’s okay if you’re looking for something to snack on. Not really a recommended place to have a proper lunch.

This was our 4th choice for Thai food ONTHISBLOCK, and for good reason. Our favorite, Anna Thai Basil, along with our 2nd choice, E-San, were closed tonight. The third choice, A Thai Basil(next to Anna), was out of our sought after dish: pad Thai. After walking the entire block, this was the only place that had what we were looking for. Unfortunately, it totally missed the mark! It had no flavor, was greasy and slimy, and the noodles were way over cooked. It had bulbs of green onions that were also slimy and soggy. I was so disappointed. Totally gross.

Green curry was watery, flavorless and no spice at all. With so many thai places around Portland, I won’t be giving them a second chance.

One of the few places that is open during the later hours in the food truck area. The place has delicious pad thai. We ordered and it took about 10 mins. We got it and we devoured it. You get a lot for what you pay for. Overall may return when in the area.

I love Thai food and tried different versions of the dishes. This food cart is unique because they’re creative with their dishes. They have ravioli green curry, ravioli kee mao and avocado curry.

This was pretty cheap($ 6 for shrimp pad kee mao) but average. It seemed oily without a ton of flavor. I had to add a bunch of fish sauce and basil when I got home to make it taste like pad kee mao. I like Sawasdee Thai down the block a lot more. Their dishes are more expensive($ 9 for the same order), but come out hot and pretty good. Almost restaurant quality.

it’s a thai food cart, original! well, they do offer various options that aren’t guaranteed to be everywhere such as crab or lobster pad thai. I felt like trying crab pad thai and some crab wontons. the crab pad thai was decent. it was priced at $ 8 and enough for a meal. It did not disappoint. the crab wontons($ 3) while cheap aren’t that great and barely have any crab flavor.

This is probably my favorite spot for Thai – it’s affordable, and perfectly made every time. I’ve been happy with everything I’ve tried. Their Pad See Ew is very flavorful and fresh tasting. The portions feel a little smaller, but it’s only $ 6 and the flavor and quality of food is higher than some of the other Thai carts around the corner.

Best Thai food cart I’ve tried in Portland, and I live and work downtown so I’ve tried a lot of them. The crab Pad Thai and lobster Pad Thai are amazing. The bubble tea is awesome too!

I never liked Thai food until I came here. They’re so friendly and are really affordable for having a WHOLE lobster in one of the dishes! Highly recommended for Thai lovers on the go!
