History

Established in 2008.

Although, I have been working as a massage therapist for over 12 years, I created The Knots End Massage & Bodywork Studio just a few years ago in 2008. The business has run as a sole proprietorship for the past four years, but is now transitioning into a dynamic space dedicated to creating the most unique and authentic massage sessions available.

Donovan M.

Business Owner

Donovan Monroe has worked professionally as a massage therapist since 1999. His deep understanding of bio-​mechanics and his intuitive nature creates a massage that is focused and detailed. His passion for the health and well-​being of others is genuine. Donovan has worked as a massage therapist across the country in Los Angeles, Denver, New Orleans, Atlanta, Washington DC, Boston, and Phoenix. But, it was his childhood memories that brought him back home to Portland, Oregon. His training has included courses from the Shiatsu Massage School in Santa Monica, Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College, and Oregon School of Massage. Donovan has hosted seminars and retreats, currently assists the OMTA (Oregon Massage Therapy Association) as the Portland Area Representative and continues his education with new techniques. Donovan maintains a busy practice conveniently located at The Knots End Massage & Bodywork Studio.
