History

Established in 2011.

The Loaded Brush was one of the first studios of its kind to be opened in Portland, Oregon by local artist Aaron Ziobrowski. The Loaded Brush started with one studio, one instructor (Aaron) doing small classes a couple nights a week. We have now grown to two floors of studios, five plus local artist instructors, several nights a week with bigger classes. We also now travel to do parties on location and fine art workshops. We continue to try out new classes, workshops, and parties.

Meet the Business Owner

Aaron Z.

Business Owner

Hailing from cornfields of Canton, Ohio, Aaron made his roundabout-way to Portland, Oregon in 2007. He made many stops along the way from flunking out of Georgia Tech as a Math Major to moving to more of his truer passions studying art at Atlanta College. From there he meandered his way from the inspiring city of New Orleans, to Austin living out of his car in true struggling artist form, to a quick jaunt to Alaska before landing in San Francisco. Here he returned to his fine art education studying under brilliant artists and having his own art featured in local galleries. It was here he dreamed up the idea to start his own fine art studio in Portland, OR. He hopped on his bicycle, yes his bicycle, and rode north to Portland and started The Loaded Brush just 4 years later. Today his dream is growing and he is always trying out new ideas and workshops. His future goals are to finish building his Tiny House on wheels and going on a tour of the US painting murals all along the way
