Exceptional food, service and value. The breakfast Paella is a delightful blend of savory and seafood, perfect for a Saturday morning late breakfast. We love the food, the chef is creative using lots of local foods that amaze the pallet. The service is perfect and we like the comfortable bistro atmosphere.

I had a very satisfying breakfast here one weekend. Green soup was phenomenal! I highly recommend it! I ordered the black forest ham and provolone breakfast sandwich with egg. My eating partner ordered the black forest ham and havarti scramble with toast(and proceeded to make it in a sandwich. why he didn’t just order a sandwich is beyond me). Both were tasty. Drinks were decent, bloody mary with wasabi was spicy! Service is casual and slow. Can’t say I was very impressed by the wait staff, but food was pretty good.

When I saw this place was rated 4 stars on Unilocal,I thought it would be worth a short walk in the rain and cold to have some yummy brunch. Ok, I admit that was stupid on my part. That said, in my opinion this restaurant is far from being 4 stars. The food wasn’t bad, but definitely nothing to get excited about. I had an egg, ham, and cheese sandwich, which was recommended by our waiter. It was recommended over their breakfast paella and breakfast quesadilla. I was a little surprised, but thought the sandwich must be super tasty and special. Nope, just a boring sandwich on boring bread. Based on this first visit I’m not impressed. However, it seems like others really enjoyed this place, so I may stop in again(if I’m walking by on a warm dry day).

I love this place for a late breakfast. As I watch the dishes being prepared in the kitchen I know I should widen my horizons and try other dishes but I always order the ham and smoked gouda scramble with a side of fruit — and I’m never disappointed!

As of this morning I’ve now had breakfast here a total of three times and I’m already trying to find an excuse to go back for a fourth. I don’t think I can possibly come up with anything better to say about it than that.

Beautiful restaurant, great service but food was average. Flavors were not married together.

I’ve never had a bad experience at the Park Bistro. Granted I’ve only been here for lunch. The food is all delicious. I highly recommend the salmon and roasted potatoes with salmon. Service is a little slow, but it’s nice to chat with friends and enjoy the tasty food. My other two faves are the Green Soup — I could eat that all the time. But it’s pretty herbaceous so stay away if greens aren’t your thing. The turkey sandwich with brie is AMAZING!!! It’s savory and creamy and healthy. The bread can be a little much, but otherwise it’s an great sandwich.

I have since visited two more tiimes. I am happy to announce that both times were just as good as the first. I fought the urge to have the same thing again and tried two more breakfasts. I have now also had the breakfast quesadilla and the ham and Gouda scramble. Both were delicious. The people working here are also extremely friendly and the service is quick. Officially my favorite place to eat breakfast I Portland. Maybe now I will get adventurous and try lunch.

That’s a tough location for a lunch restaurant as food cart heaven is just right around the corner. However, this is a nice spot when the weather is bad or if you’re simply hankering for a sit down experience. I’ve visited a few times: once it was average, once better than. Both times I ordered their touted Green Soup, a great choice when health is on the brain. The Chiliquiles is an excellent, full of flavor dish. The chips do get mushy very fast, so what would put this offering over the top is to surround the bowl with extra chips for dipping. It does come with a tortilla, but it’s almost useless. Upon entry, I was a little concerned that there was only one server and one busboy. But she managed to provide very efficient and courteous service, so big kudos to her. A very nice lunch spot.

Gourmet breakfast menu at a very reasonable price. It is a quaint restaurant with limited seating and a minimalist décor. The server was very friendly and our beverages and food came fairly quickly. I would highly recommend this place to visitors.

Mothers had a HUGE line(Again! rather, like always…) and we didn’t feel like waiting an hour to eat, so I pulled up the Unilocal app and it gave us Park Bistro!!! Yeah! love my android! It was not crowded, and the smells out of the kitchen were fantastic! We had 2 different veggie and meat scrambles, which were both good, mine wasn’t fantastic, but my dates was brie-licious and the mimosas were AWESOME!!!(hint) get the hibiscus-cran-mosas… we each got another! Total bill was under 40 bucks, and I had coffee. There are few times when i will mention how wonderful a waitress is, but because Julie was nice, funny and very attentive i will go back and make sure we get her as a server again! try it out! if nothing else, julie might give you the recipe for the hibiscus-cran-mosas!!!

Encouraged by some very positive online reviews and its great downtown location(½ block from Nordstrom and Courthouse Square, 2 blocks from our hotel The Nines) we strolled in for a Sunday breakfast and our experience exceeded our already lofty expectations. Arriving at 9:40am, we were a bit surprised to see nobody else in the restaurant, but any concern we might have had was quickly washed away by fantastic food, excellent service, and just a classy, fresh breakfast experience. I had the turkey hash topped by eggs and red chile sauce and it was easily the best breakfast(probably meal) I’ve had in a long time. Service was friendly and quick — even as more customers came strolling in, including some that had reserved tables. We would highly recommend Park Bistro to anybody looking for a slightly-left-or-right-of traditional breakfast experience, and hope they keep delivering on the quality of both food and service. Well done.

My boyfriend and I stumbled into this place one Saturday morning when we didn’t want to wait in a 45 minute line at Kenny and Zukes. It’s now my go to breakfast/brunch place! Delicious food, great service, affordable prices, perfectly sized portions, never crowded. I’ve tried a majority of their items, and am never disappointed! Personal favorite are the berry crepes, available on weekends. You won’t be disappointed! Also, they just started serving liquor, so if you are in need of a bloody mary on Sunday morning, this is the place to be.

Long/short of it: Food is very tasty, service is nice, ambiance underachieves with the space they have to work with. I had the green soup, breakfast sandwich and potatoes. Lady had the something or other with something else on the side. I was too busy jamming eggs down my pants to notice. You know what I realized today? I really don’t give a fuck about ambiance if the food’s good and the service doesn’t remind me of a dog taking a dump. You know, when they look at you all embarrassed mid-crap like they’re doing something wrong and you look away like, ah Jesus, just crap you idiot. Dogs are such dorks. They love them some peanut butter tho lollergag187!1

My girlfriends and I scoped out the place before a day of shopping, and it was exactly the fuel we needed. Between the creative selection of eggs, pancakes, soups and, of course, first class coffee, we were very pleased with our choice. Not only did the meals leave our tastebuds satisfied, but our wallets were delighted as well. Each of our meals, including tip, came to a whopping $ 15 — a very good deal. A suggestion: try the spinach, tomato and brie scrambled eggs. The portion is enough to fill you, and feel ready for a few hours of shopping. Can’t wait to go back for the carb side of the menu! As of now, they only serve breakfast and lunch, no dinner and no happy hour, but hopefully that will change in the near future. It’s a small venue, so if your planning on a group dining experience, don’t bring more than 6.

Cue music to Mission Impossible: Your mission, should you choose to accept it: «Find a breakfast place that wows me». This is what was put forth to my friend by her husband this past weekend. & thanks to her research, & some Yeeps that went before us & their reviews… she placed her bets on The Park Bistro. Lucky for me & the hubs, we got to tag along! At first, we were a bit nervous, 1030 on a Saturday, & the place was nearly empty… had we made a mistake? But it didn’t take long for the aromas of the kitchen to reach us & reassure us… this is going to be good! The food here is delicious. Our table had a nice mix of savory & sweet… the Mediterranean Frittata, Brioche French Toast with Tuaca Spiced Apples, Two Egg, Jack Cheese, Red Pepper Sauce(add a chicken sausage) Panini… & the show stopper… the«Wow-er» Warm Mixed Berry Compote Crepes. All of the dishes were wonderful! Along with a decent cup of coffee, warm, relaxing atmosphere, & satisfactory service… Park Bistro is a very solid 4 star experience.

I’m a huge fan of curry chicken salad sandwiches. This place has a really good one that comes open faced on toasted wheat. Would give 5 stars but also ordered a granola and the yogurt was really sour… not really their fault, but my suggestion is to order the milk.

The Park bistro is utterly, simply satisfying. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxed weekend brunch spot downtown but don’t want to wait your entire morning in line at Mother’s or Byways, head here. The menu has a good amount of standard Portland comfort-fare: scrambles, frittatas, french toast, etc. and at reasonable prices(most entrees are around $ 8, 2 of us ate here for a total of $ 21). I am not what one would call a regular toast fan, but I’ll be damned if I don’t get toast with my order every time I come here. They grill it and the bread comes out crispy and toast-like on the outside, chewy on the inside. Morning perfection. The lunch menu looks great with a nice variety of sandwiches, but I’ve only been here for breakfast, so I can’t comment. I –can– say that the green soup David J. mentions is FABULOUS. For mysterious reasons unknown to me, you can get soup as a side option for your breakfast. My breakfast date today got the green soup with his black forest ham scramble, and my taste of it was in fact, awesome. Overall, this place is a good stand-by breakfast or lunch spot. The atmosphere is relaxing, the food is good, the people are friendly, and you don’t have to stand in a line to get some damn eggs and coffee.

Some of the most important conversations I’ve had in Portland I have had here. I will get to it later but you should try THEGREENSOUP, THEGREENSOUP, and THEGREENSOUP!!! I have taken people I needed to have deep conversations with, clients, friends, out-of-towners, and business associates to The Park and have never, ever been disappointed. They have a wonderfully accommodating menu to vegetarians and omnivores alike. I have never had anything but an excellent meal there. For breakfast I recommend the: Chiliquiles, always spicy and filling, The Mediterranean frittata; spinach, feta, and kalamata olive topped with roasted red pepper sauce, or the Breakfast Paella; jasmine saffron rice sautéed with shrimp, chicken sausage, red pepper, peas and onion topped with scrambled eggs. The real star of The Park is anything with one of their soups, especially the Green Soup. It is 100% veg and absolutely wonderful and healthy. I was so entranced with it I bugged the chef Michelle until she gave me the bare bones and spent 3 weeks and 15 gallons of soup trying to reverse engineer it. I almost always order it with the shrimp salad or any of the sandwiches. Also if you are lucky enough to score tickets to their wine and beer sampling dinners, count yourself lucky and grateful. The parings are beyond superb. The owners of the breweries or vineyards are often seated along side you. and the food melts in your mouth. They did beautiful ale with an Ahi Tuna Steak that melted in my mouth. I rarely rave so heartily, but it is rare that a restaurant deserves it. Also good for lunch when downtown or shopping at Nordstrom’s.
