Therapy Solutions For Kids

Leslie is wonderful. Very calm, clear. Explains everything to my 8 yo. Uses technology to show pictures. Very thorough evaluation. My daughter responded to Leslie very well. Listened and followed instructions. She wasn’t nervous once we started.

My daughter had been going to therapy solutions for kids for about a year now to correct issues with her gross motor movement. The therapists are excellent, the facilities are excellent and they have begun a tremendous help getting her where she is today. However, I am reviewing the whole place and their scheduling department is the reason for the lack of a perfect rating. They have now cancelled and rescheduled 4 appointments, pushing them out father. This is unacceptable and needs to be resolved. It shows a lack of care for my schedule and what I have to move around.

I wish there was a way to give you more than 5 stars, I really do. They helped us identify issues with my daughter, and she begs to go back. My son does multiple therapies there, and calls his OT his «fren» (one of his only spoken words).

Our son went to Therapy Solutions for Kids for a year, for physical therapy for an injury he got at birth.
They were INCREDIBLE to work with. Caring, considerate, very knowledgeable about and good with my son and with me (this was all new to me). I was amazed at how baby-​friendly they could make the process of physical therapy exercises — it’s not like a one-​month-​old is going to follow explanations, obviously.
The facility is gorgeous, clean, well-​appointed, with good equipment. It’s been laid out so it will be easy to get from the waiting room to the appointment rooms and back, and the rooms are bright and engaging (all the ones I saw, anyway, including the waiting room). The people are thoughtful, good communicators, and incredibly good with kids. For exercises between sessions, we always got a very good written set that was tailored to my son’s needs at that time, not generic by age or condition (although sometimes a generic sheet was used and then written on when one was close to appropriate).
I am glad we no longer need to go here, obviously, but I am incredibly glad that they were available to us when my son needed them.
The only annoying note — and it is a tiny annoyance and, sadly, one they have little control over — is the parking. If your child is not disabled, there are only a couple visitor spaces near the building and then 4 – 5 spaces reserved for Therapy Solutions for Kids at one end… where you have to go down stairs to get in. If you have a non-​disabled child young enough to be in a stroller, you either have to walk the long way around through the parking lot, or work a stroller down the steps. I would suggest wearing or carrying your baby if possible, rather than doing this; it was not fun the one time we did it, although there are only a few steps there.

They should make these five gold star. We strongly recommend Therapy Solutions for Kids. Our son, has been working with Therapy Solutions for close to a year and we are delighted with his progress under their care. Therapy Solutions for Kids has provided our child with best services. (We have tried services at two hospital systems. Sadly, were very disappointed.) The staff at Therapist Solutions are knowledgeable about his conditions, child centered, professional, reliable and respectful to our son and and us (his parents). He receives speech and occupation therapy.
