Specialties
We offer yoga, meditation, movement classes and individual yoga therapy for adults, teens and kids.
History
Established in 2013.
At unfold, we’ve created a space for those want to do yoga, but might not be comfortable in a typical yoga environment. Our students regularly tell us that some other studios feel intimidating for varied reasons. At unfold you will feel comfortable being yourself, regardless of age, ability, size or fitness-level.
We offer lots of drop-in classes that range from gentle and restorative, to strength and balance classes. We have many ‘yin yoga’ classes, which have a very slow pace, allowing for lots of supporting props. Yin yoga is a practice of letting go, and letting gravity do the work of stretching the muscles and fascia, to allow for release of various kinds of tension.
People ask us: Which class is good for beginners?
Our answer: ALL of them!
Welcome to unfold! This is yoga for the rest of us.
Meet the Business Owner
E.B. F.
Business Owner
E.B. loves to introduce yoga movement, meditation and philosophy to those new to yoga. She especially likes gentle and restorative movement — to help calm the body and mind. She is a yoga therapist and specializes in helping women with anxiety and depression to live their lives more fully, to realize their full potential in their work, love and life! She has personally wrestled with her own anxiety and depression challenges, and loves the relative ease that yoga brings her on a daily basis.
E.B. has been an Integrated Movement Therapy practitioner for over six years, and is a trainer of that yoga therapy modality. She is an E-RYT500 (experienced registered yoga teacher, 500 hour), and is a co-owner of unfold studios, along with Leigh Drake & Rachel Plies.
Fun fact: As a middle-schooler, E.B. was a break dancer, and her nickname was «Whiplash.»
