I read these reviews and rented from Ted anyways because I was in a jam. I REGRETTHATDECISION. He will say anything to make you think he is going to help you out. The office does not respond to emails. They barely respond to phone calls. When they do respond, be prepared to be treated like you’re some dead beat renter. When they sent my left over deposit, they sent it to the rental home that I had just vacated. HOWSTUPIDCANYOUBE. Yes they did have my forwarding address, but they would have to check their email for that. I had to break my lease early, so on November 1st I payed my rent and called Ted to notify him, plus emailed the office(they«never received it,» I had to call and get them to respond in writing). I told them no notification necessary, the house is empty except a few things in the garage and minor cleaning. Ted said November rent plus X amount will equal the lease break fee. Then he charged me another lease break fee. And he might just get away with it. GETEVERYTHINGHESAYSINWRITING or just don’t rent from him. It’s that simple.

My husband and I rented from Ted who by the way, is not even a licensed property manager in July 2015. He showed me the house, during the walk in I expressed to him I have chickens and a dog. He agreed that there was plenty of space for chickens and that they would not be a problem. During the lease execution he boasted about how compliant and good-hearted he was for about 1 and a half hours. He also agreed that he would be ordering closet doors, since non of the closets in the house have any doors. Once we moved in and started having a myriad of things going wrong with the house he went back on his word regarding the closet doors. He also went back on his word regarding the chickens. My husband started building the chicken coop and Ted and his son Brandon were very rude to us. We invited them to come out to check out the chicken coop. During his visit Ted verbally abused my husband and told us we would be getting evicted for having a house for our chickens. He is a very hostile man who flips the script at any give situation. We ended up complaining with the owners of the property of his mistreatment and lack of professionalism. Ultimately they wont give us closet doors, and wont allow us to have our chickens. I would have never rented a house if the chickens weren’t allowed. Do not do business with this man, whether it be having him manage your property or lease a property to you and your family. He never follows through with maintenance promises and constantly«forgets» things and goes back on his word. He is very hostile and ill tempered. He has even gone as low as sending over an unlicensed carpet cleaner, Phong of Fong’s carpet cleaning over. Overall a displeasure doing business with VIP.

The owner of the company was very very helpful when we were first moving in. However, when it comes to getting anything repaired or fixed in the home, it takes weeks and weeks for anyone to respond. Then as soon as someone does respond, it will take a few more weeks until you hear from the repair man. Their customer service is absolutely unacceptable for a business. Had I known this before hand, we would have most definitely went with another company. I am hoping those of you who are thinking about using this company proceed with caution. They tell you when you sign the lease agreement to contact them ASAP for anything needing fixed… Do they expect leaks to keep leaking, stoves to continuously not work. and expect the tenants to just deal with it? Very unhappy customer…
