Went on 12⁄25 for the Winter Wonderland. After driving from Beaverton, arrived at 9:05 pm. Website clearly stated hours open til 11:00 pm. When we arrived we were told by a sign that the event was closed for the evening. No one was even there to tell us why. Had to u-​turn it and head back home. Very Scrooge-​like. Very Grinchy.

Definitely not worth the $ 20 I spent to get into this place. I could have gone to my neighbors house to see the same thing. A lot of the lights were out. Really disappointing to say the least.

Waited in a big line to drive slowly around PIR. We only went because I won a ticket to it. You see more lights at a Los Angeles traffic jam and you move faster there.

Who doesn’t like Christmas lights? This is a unique experience unlike no other. Driving around the Portland International Raceway (PIR) at 5 miles an hour checking out various light displays. There are a lot of displays to look at. It is something fun to do during the holidays. The cost is per vehicle at $ 20 so pack the folks in. You can get discounts from various sponsors of the event. The event usually sponsors an organization so your entry goes to a good cause.

Not worth it! First of all you have to wait in a mile long line of cars for about 45 minutes before you even get to the light show. The light show was ok, my 3 year old son was more interested in the train that could be heard in the distance. A good portion of the bulbs are burnt out as well.
The $ 18 admission was on the steep side as well. Good business model I suppose as there were at least a few thousand cars that went through just this evening.

Ummmmm… totally not worth the $ 18 car admission. 4 of us adults could not figure out if even kids would like this. Couldn’t they even have Santa Claus or someone on site as you drive around? So what do you pay for? Christmas decorations aligning the race track. And what kind of Christmas decorations? I figured I could buy half at them at Walmart. Totally not worth your time. Big ol’ UGH review from me.

The drive was fun, listening to the provided Christmas themed music CD with the top down and butt-​warmers on. LOL. The volunteer staff was super frinedly at the entrance and exit and the course was fun to drive: my wife said she wants to come back and race on it! The lights were lovely but none of them were anything we hadn’t seen elsewhere before.
My son LOVED it as his FAVORITE part of the holidays are the light displays.

Last night was my first time at Winter Wonderland and I was fairly impressed I do think the price is a little high for what you get however it was a good hour well spent with my family
Unless they have new light displays every year I doubt that I would go again but I can see the kids would love it

Nice light show for a good price with a coupon. Friendly people and you get to cruise through in your car. Artwork by local children at the end. My friend and I cruised through with our 4 ½, 2, and 1 yr old kids and they loved it. We wish they had a coffee cart there.

Is it just me, or are there more and more lights out every year and no display changes/​upgrades? Yet the price continues to climb. Wish they’d at least make sure all the bulbs were lit.
