We got home today and an Edible Arrangement had been delivered to our home.
The arrangement is perfection! The fruit is at its peak. It’s a very beautiful gift.
Fortunately, we stopped by our house and found it instead of heading straight to Maine for the week.
It would have been nice if we had been notified that it was ordered for us. We would have waited for it or picked it up on our way to the family gathering after the funeral for everyone to enjoy. It’s a lot of fruit for just my husband and I to eat.
It’s too perishable and risky to be a ‘surprise’ left in the recipient’s driveway.
Communication is «key».

You know these people. They make things that look like floral arrangements out of fruit. The people at the Portsmouth store are friendly and helpful, and we ordered something for next weekend. These things aren’t cheap, though. You’ll have trouble getting an arrangement for less than $ 50, and that’s if you pick it up yourself. And once you give it to someone, they can enjoy it for a little while but then it has to be disassembled if you don’t want it to go bad. It’s cool as a novelty, but I don’t think any florists are worried about being put out of business because everyone’s buying flowers made of fruit.
