They have some great gifts for dog and cat lovers. I was a little disappointed that there were not more cat items though. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the woman running the store was very friendly

Just «meh».
Disclaimer: I have kids in addition to a 4-​legged kid (HA!) so I don’t go all crazy for specialty dog stuff like some folks without kids do.
Was really looking for a hands-​free running leash, & given just how popular running is in Portsmouth & how many dog owners there are, I was pretty shocked that they didn’t carry it, I would think it would be a popular item.
The kid who worked there was just too «cool» to be bothered to care about working there. Sure, he answered our questions, but he made sure to look down at us over his black-​rimmed (probably non-​prescription) hipster glasses & make sure we were fully aware he really didn’t give a sh! t. We’d gone in fully intending on making a purchase the following day but after his attitude we said «forget it».

A nice. eclectic place to get pet toys, breed specific merchandise, or souvenirs. The staff was friendly. There is a cool spiral staircase to the 2nd floor if that is your kind of thing.

A store full of fun pet (and owner) toys. Whether your dog is lost without a George Bush-​shaped chew toy, or you’d like a Corgi Terrier mug for the office, this is the place to go. The usual Macro irreverence prevails so you’ll have fun looking around.
