Port City Chiropractic

I had a good massage but was very disappointed in their customer interactions. Although they are constantly offering new deals for great rates they would not work with me to honor prior deal and when I inquired why they ignored me so needless to say I will not be going back. After reading some other people’s experiences and port city’s reply, I am not surprised.

Again I am writing a review about Dr Shapiro and his office staff. He has been extremely generous and caring towards my family. Our twins have benefited from his experienced hands. Liam is now on his way to being a healthy boy in part because of the treatments from Port City.
Charlie has severe asthma but every time he sees Dr Shapiro afterwards he is very healthy and sleeps much better. In fact the last 2 times they saw him the fell asleep before getting to the car. My twins were preemies and had some medical issues. I am very protective of them since they lost their Mom (my daughter) when they were 3 months old.(now 19 months old) DR Shapiro is the type of person I trust completely with their care. The office is a non pretentious and caring environment. I would recommend Port City to anyone they wants to feel healthier.

So I’ve been adjusted at least 8 or so times here now. My daughter probably 4. I feel awesome and everything I said previously stands. The office is a really well oiled machine. LAUREN at the desk knows everything and multi tasks like nobody’s business. Dr. Shapiro is very professional and his technique has been really effective for me. Great parking. Complete ease in the check in and check out experience. And physically I feel great due to the expertise of Dr. Shapiro. :)

Just had a horrible experience with Port City Chiropractic and wanted to share it with everyone. First let me tell you I am 9 months pregnant and am a well established business owner. For the past several months I have been using gift certificates I received for a ½ half hour massage to help with my pregnancy and work related aches and pains as I have a very physical job and being pregnant on top of that has not been easy. Each visit I upgrade my massage to a full hour and have also paid for chiropractic services on several occasions which I would have never gotten if not for the gift certificate. Port City Chiropractic has made additional money from me during each visit even with use of the gift certificates. With that being said I went into the office today for a schedule massage appointment and was told out of the blue that they are no long accepting my gift certificates. Their explanation for this was that the promotion they ran for the certificates was not working out for them and that they were not making the money they expected from those particular gift certificates. The gift certificates have absolutely no expirations date on them and in fact only state and I quote «No cash value. Does not include gratuity. Certificates are not valid in conjunction with any other discount or promotional offer. Limit one certificate per visit» all of which I followed. I am now left with 3 remaining gift certificates that I purposely saved so I could get a massage each week until my due date of 12÷24÷11 to help cope with extreme uncomfortableness of the late stage of my pregnancy. Dr Shapiro himself was extremely rude and completely unprofessional in handling this matter and I will make sure everyone hears about my experience.

I had never been to a chiropractor before this past week. I was moving furniture and hurt my back and 4 days later it wasn’t getting any better. I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t focus — work was so uncomfortable and the drive from Dover to Portsmouth was painful. Then, I had an appointment with Dr. Shapiro. I was immediately made comfortable in his office by his staff (thanks Amy!) and am well on my way to getting better. I can now work, drive and enjoy life much better than I could just days ago. Dr. Amanda is great as well and Victoria who provided an incredible massage this morning.
I really like the holistic and complete approach taken at Port City Chiropractic. Thanks for making me better!
