Rita’s Pizza

They sent the wrong food and rudely insisted we ordered the wrong thing. This used to be my go to pizza place. I won’t call them again.

Love me some Rita’s. Almost always have good service. (There was just one bad experience). We get take out from here regularly meaning weekly. Usually get just pizza’s but sometimes we splurge on potatoe skins, wings and garlic knots.
Pizza is always on point. We get a his and hers over here. Mushroom for me and ham for him. The pizza is always hot and accurate. The have better garlic knots then I have had at some sit down locations.
This is strictly a pickup or delivery place. We always pickup to take advantage of their carryout special. ($ 7.99) Open everyday and usually only have to wait 15 minutes for a pizza except the ball game in Jan/​Feb time frame. Seems like then everyone wants to taste pizza. National try a slice day.

Food is ok but if you are ordering for delivery you have to specify and the change of your order being right slim to none

Good food, fast and good pricing. It’s another good take out pizza joint. Subs are pretty good as well.

Tried for the first time and we loved it. Delivery around 8pm took about 30 mins.
Pizza looked great, smelled better, tasted even better.
Will order again

I’ve heard some good things about Rita’s pizza, and I’m a fan of local pizza joints, so thought we’d try it tonight for dinner! They have a 7.99 carry out special for a large and one topping, so thats what we got! Their large is about the same as a medium at a chain restaurant like dominos, my boyfriend and myself ate the whole large. So if its more than two people i’d suggest the extra large!
So the taste, i give it 5 stars, for me its the best pizza i’ve had in a long time and will continue to come here for here on out! The pepperoni was crunchy, the cheese was perfect, not too much sauce, just yummy!
The staff was super nice, when i called the lady was very helpful getting me all set up, and when i arrived the gentleman was very kind!

We just moved to the area and this was the pizza joint most recommended to us. Everything was «fine». Nothing special, but nothing worth complaining about. Just simply average. Rita’s pizza is on the thin-​crust side. We did like that they offer banana peppers as a topping which we love. The chicken wings were also average. Prices are good.

100% the best pizza I’ve had in Hampton Roads. The dude that answered was noticeably nice and they were right on time. We got a ham pizza which was ON POINT! The wings, which we learned we were not ready for hot, were great. Usually just the skin has marinade, these were tender and flavored through to the bone.
I will absolutely be ordering there again… and again.

My family’s go-​to for pizza night. Fresh, simple, and good. Their hot wings are awesome, too!

Fast and economical is the strong points. We ordered a Cheese Pizza takeout which was very reasonable but with what I thought had quality issues. The store was very clean and the staff was friendly so not complaints there.
In a nutshell the pizza lacked tomato sauce and the crust had not much flavor. I am not much for chains which is why we tried this one but next time we are headed back to a good NY pizza joint even if we have to drive further.
I am sure there are some who really like this sort of pizza and just because we don’t compelled me to leave three stars not two. I guess it’s a matter of what you expect when you walk in a place for the first time.

Their pizza is similar in style to Domino’s, but the taste is much better. I do prefer a NY style thin-​crust, but this is probably my favorite for its style and my favorite in Hampton Roads. Excellent prices/​deals and pick-​up is just dirt cheap for the quality of the pizza.
