Came in here around 3pm yesterday for a sub with my elderly mother. Only one customer in the whole place. Went to the counter and my mother inquired about the flatbread… The teenage girl with blond hair behind the counter was sooo RUDE!!! Looked at my mother like she had three heads, made a face and basically told her flat bread is flat bread, what is your question? So, my mother timidly started to order, when the moron of a worker, told her«the line is over here, and to order she had to move to the end and get in line!!» Mind you, there was no one in line, as we at that point were now the only customers in the whole friggen place… My mother being almost 80, and hard of hearing stayed where she was as she was confused, and she then told her again to get in line! The whole thing was surreal, at that point I literally told her off and left. But my suggestion to management is teach your workers to treat people with respect, especially the elderly. Shame on this place!

A co-worker was going to Subway last week and asked me if I wanted something. I said okay and after seeing a million«five dollar footlong» commercials, I thought I’d get a steak and cheese. So the sandwich comes back and it’s nine dollars. Yeah, NINE. So after some discussions about the prices on the menu and the prices they actually charge, they give me a free coupon. It turns out there was a misunderstanding about the difference between a steak and cheese and a cheesesteak, or something like that. Anyway, I had a coupon for something free and I like that. So today I used it to get a roast beef sub, with everything. It was good but as Clara Peller said in that classic Wendy’s commercial 20 years ago, «Where’s the beef?» Really, there was three thin slices of roast beef and some tasty veggies. So thinking about this Subway, it’s an A-OK three star kind of place. Without the coupon, this strikes me as a two star lunch stop because the cheesesteak was overpriced and the roast beef sub was understuffed. But they’re trying to do a customer service thing, they’re predictable, and someone from my office is always going there. So go if you like Subway. It’s not about the food but you’ll do okay.
