We are chiropractic and rehabilitation clinic that believe in customizing your care, not the same treatment for everyone because all conditions are unique. Dr. Tim Scheuerman’s 25 year back ground involves a strong emphasis in Active Release Technique (ART) and Functional Neuro-​Orthopedic Rehabilitation (FNOR™) in both spinal and extremity injuries. FNOR™ seamlessly blends applied functional neuroscience, orthopedic care and modern rehabilitative methods to achieve faster, more effective, consistent results. ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/​movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles.

Who Is Dr. Tim Scheuerman

Colorado is where Dr. Tim grew up and completed is undergraduate studies. He then moved to California and attended Life Chiropractic College West from 1988 to 1992. He began practicing in Louisville, Kentucky and moved to Virginia in 1993 where he is currently in private practice.

His specialties and interest lie in the field of functional neurology and soft tissue treatment applications. He has completed the chiropractic neurology program and childhood behavior learning disorder program from the Carrick Institute and is currently enrolled in the vestibular rehabilitation program. He continues to build his knowledge in the field of soft tissue treatment and continues his studies with Active Release Technique.

He enjoys all varieties of outdoor life with his wife Katy including cycling, stand-​up paddle boarding, surfing, and kayaking. And of course he keeps active with his 3 whippets Huki, Kimo, and Eddie.
