Bow Wow Bliss

My wife and I were very satisfied with the promptness and flexibility of scheduling at Bow Wow Bliss. We love supporting local businesses in the Pottstown area and up until now our dogs have always went to PetSmart or Petco for grooming. This experience was definitely worth the change to a local business. Jen did a great job with both of our dogs and everything was handled professionally. The entire service process was smooth and the dogs are happy to be groomed!

I was very satisfied with the service. I’ve been looking for a groomer in Pottstown who does a good job with my shih-​tzu/​bichon mix. Jen did a great job with him: cute, clean look that I like. Everything from the haircut to nails, ears, teeth, and backside were cleaned expertly. The price was decent, I was called back promptly (both when scheduling and for pick up), and the entire appointment was quick and easy. Top service!

My husband and I recently purchased a home in Pottstown and needed to find a new grooming salon for our two yorkies (we were using A Classic Clip Plus in Collegeville and were happy but she’s just too far now). We moved around a lot before settling down here so our dogs have been to quite a few groomers — some fantastic, some not so fantastic. Bow Wow Bliss is located a few minutes from our house and is associated with the Bliss Salon on Sunnybrook Road. There aren’t any reviews online about the shop so I was a tad hesitant about bringing my pups here but figured I would give it a shot (mainly because there aren’t many groomers even located in the Pottstown area). I called on a Tuesday to request an appointment, Jennifer called back the following morning and was able to fit my dogs in the same day. This is unheard of! It’s usually at least a week long wait, especially in the summer months. I dropped my pups off at 1:00 and BOTH OF THEM were done by 3:00. Again, unheard of. Full haircuts and everything. My one yorkie has a thick, cottony coat that’s hard to manage and the other has typical, fine yorkie hair and Jennifer did a great job on both of them. The interior of the place is really cute too, very country chic. Both haircuts cost $ 90 which is a fair price. This was a great first time experience at Bow Wow Bliss and I’ll definitely be bringing my pups back here.
