History

Established in 1992.

The Marlene Weber Corporation began in October of 1976 with the purchase of a three-stylist salon in Lagrangeville. From that day forward, Marlene Weber’s business prospered. Marlene’s creativity lent itself to the remodeling of a barn where she opened the day spa in December of 1989. The hair salon and spa merged to become the Marlene Weber Day Spa in April of 1992.

I used to love this place but the quality and service is now crap. I got my hair and make up done for a wedding and I didn’t like my hair the hair dresser (Stephanie)told me after I got my makeup done she would fix my hair but instead I went to get it fixed and she left. Also not very professional anymore the one woman Marla is always chomping on gum and is gross. It used to be with the money but the good stylists have left and the new staff isn’t good. Way too over priced. I used to get massages too and now I don’t even want to go in there. I go to a new spa for my hair, nails and massages and couldn’t be happier. Sorry but Marlene Webber had gone to S**t

Worst hair experience in the Hudson Valley. Extremely overpriced and the owner was snobby and not helpful. I was lied to on more than one occasion and end up spending much more than I was quoted. My last experience with them ended after taking my extensions out and finding out I lost half of my hair. I would NEVER tell a soul to ever go here. You’ve been warned.

The day began with four brides maids and a bride laughing and giggling their way into Marlene Weber ready to have a great girls day. That mood went out the door the minute we walked in. We were not greeted with any smiles, more like looks of annoyance.
One lady was very rude to us when we told her a guest would not be arriving. I personally was not involved in the conversation, but i was there to witness the sheer Unprofessional-ism of the lady who worked there. You should never address clients the way this lady did.
Other than that…
The facility was clean enough, the rest of the staff was nice enough, and the services were just okay.
Way overpriced. I have been to many spas, mostly on the west coast and at least when you are paying those prices you are getting services to match.
I understand there are not a lot of options in this area when it comes to spas, but i would still not recommend spending your money at this spa.
