Redl’s Towing Division

I wish I had a better experience with this company. I got stuck on the Taconic and from the initial phone conversation to actually getting my car towed, they were so nasty to me and my family. It’s bad enough to get stuck and worry about getting your family home safely, we had to deal with such horrible customer service.

Great people. They know the area and are very helpful. They hop to it and happily help. Plus they keep their flatbed neat and clean.
I have had a couple vehicles towed and a piece of equipment, always nice friendly service. They take care of everything so I did not even have to go with them to the shop. So worth it and a big time saver.
I think when your car is broken down some people feel very upset and unfairly take their emotions out on service people who are working in tough conditions to try to help you and I can only imagine what these guys go thru working in slush and weather. I hope they are appreciated by the customers they assist in dangerous places on public highways to support them. Tough work and many I’m sure under appreciate them. I tip the guys who work in these types of jobs, it can’t be easy but showing a little gratitude is.

Eric came to pick up my motorcycle with a flat tire on the Taconic State Parkway tonight and did a phenomenal job! He was very prompt once the State Police called and was very friendly but professional. He was extremely helpful and turned an otherwise unpleasant experience into a positive one. If you have a choice when you need a tow in the Poughkeepsie area, I highly recommend Eric and Redl’s.

Needed to call Redl’s to speak with the salvage yard operation not the towing. The guy at the towing number couldn’t have been nicer. Keep up the good customer service… Alec in Clinton Corners, NY

If I was allowed to use another towing company off the Taconic I would. They were nasty on the phone and in person. I went there the next day to get my car and there was no bill ready, I left my name & number and no one ever called me. Three days later I got in touch with them, still no bill and he was verbally abusive to me.
I believe that if I hadn’t gone to the Troopers barracks to speak with someone in charge I would have had to pay storage fees on top of the towing fees ($ 175+tax, for 5 miles).
Even after I had gotten it straightened out with the Sargent I spoke with he, the owner of the company, was even more so verbally abusive.
I would rather push my car than ever have them tow any of my vehicles ever again.
Better Business Bureau has been called.
