I am in the final phase of the implant process and I want to share my experience. I had two prior estimates before being referred by my primary dentist (2^nd being more $$ than the 1^st) from other Periodontists that had fancy lobbies, when I arrived for my consultation at Dr. Khansari’s office I thought from the looks of the office my 3^rd estimate was gonna be by far the highest, I’ve never been happier to say I was wrong, Dr. Khansari was $ 11,000 less than the 1^st estimate. That’s how my experience started. Dr. Khansari explained everything about the procedure (s) so well I was questionless, and during procedures he explains what he’s doing play by play. A few days before surgery Dr. Khansari gave me all my post surgery prescriptions, that makes that so much easier. Dr. Khansari called me the evening after surgery to see how I was holding up, everything has gone smooth with minimal pain & swelling. They schedule appointments so their is minimal waiting, the front office is comfortable, and smells good from the candles, and the music that they play is great. I would recommend this office. Dr. Khansari and everyone of his staff have been nothing less than professionals during my experience there… Thank You

I recently had an implant done by Dr. Khansari. It was a great experience from start to finish. First of all Dr. Khansari and his staff from Renee (Office Manager) to Janet (Surgical Staff member) make you feel welcome and at ease. Dr. Khansari is very thorough and explains everything in detail. Prior to my implant surgery I was well informed and prepared. Dr. Khansari and his staff made sure I had everything (ie prescriptions) I would need for my recovery. Having everything in advance also prevented my husband from having to scramble around the day of. I was a little nervous when I came in for my surgery. The whole team instantly put me at ease and made me feel very comfortable. The procedure went off without a hitch. Dr. Khansari called the evening of the surgery to check on me to make sure I was doing okay and to remind me of the steps to take to reduce swelling. I was so prepared for my recovery that everything went smoothly with minimal pain or swelling. I had a few follow-​up appointments to ensure proper healing until Dr. Khansari gave me the green light for next step of getting the crown. Overall it was a very positive experience. It is obvious that Dr. Khansari cares about his patients. I would definitely go to this office again. Thanks for the great care!

Dr. Khansari is an amazing periodontist and I’ve been to many. He is professional and very skilled. I have had gum surgery and dental implants at this office and couldn’t be happier. Renee is wonderful and makes the experience at the office great. Very surprised at the negative reviews here. I would not give them any credibility.

I had an abutment screw with a crown on top that started to wiggle. I was then referred to him by my dentist. He fairly put my initial consultation fee towards the procedure of cutting off the crown and putting in a temporary implant abutment screw while the area healed. He scheduled 2 free consultations after the procedure, one 2 weeks after the procedure and another one 2 weeks later to make sure everything was OK to proceed with having my regular dentist put in a new abutment and crown. He monitored my blood pressure during the procedure to make sure I wasn’t getting too high a blood pressure. Even tho I’m a trooper as far as all things dentistry goes, and the procedure wasn’t that traumatic, I still got a little bit of a rise in my blood pressure reading. He went quickly and professionally to make sure the procedure would go as quickly as possible while maintaining a high level of professionalism. He’s a pleasant fellow too.

I was referred to Dr. Khansari by my dentist because there were some issues with my gums. He met with me and after his assessment came to the conclusion that I would need 2 of my lower, front teeth extracted in addition to my wisdom teeth. The former because of bone loss and the latter because of deep pockets. So I had the oral surgery, and a bone graft. Once the extraction area had healed I was cleared to continue with my orthodontic treatment and given a date to return for follow up.
A few weeks ago my orthodontist noticed something on an xray he took while I was there for a check up. He told me that he wanted Dr. Khansari to examine the area for any problems. It turns out the area the orthodontist was concerned with wasn’t the issue, but the perio had found something else.
I had swelling behind one of my teeth next to the extraction site. He took X-​rays and said there was advanced vertical bone loss on my tooth. How does this occur when you are supposed to be under the care of an expert? He said it was a mystery as to why there was swelling behind the tooth. So I scheduled a cleaning because i thought it was time and went on my way.
I went to see a dentist after meeting with Dr. Khansari because of the pain and increased swelling. The dentist said based on my history I should have been having perio maintenance with regular deep cleanings. He said my gums needed scaling and root planing. Why didn’t Dr. Khansari recommend this when he saw me?
After hearing this, I cancelled my cleaning and found a different periodontist. I had to have my braces removed to deal with my gum health. I would absolutely NOT recommend Dr. Khansari.

I just had to write a glowing review of Dr. Kahnsari! I’m in the middle of an implant process but can’t believe what a wonderful, caring doctor he is. So far, it’s been painless, the staff is professional and friendly, and their new offices are beautiful. He was recommended by my general dentist and now I see why! I would highly recommended Dr. Alireza Khansari.

It’s all been a great experience … and very diligent on the surgery follow-​up visits.

Dr. Khansari is extremely professional, kind, caring and most of all — he does excellent work! I was referred to him by my dentist and, although I was very apprehensive about my procedure, he thoroughly explained the process and answered all my questions during my initial consultation and every step during my follow-​up care. My oral surgery included both bone and tissue grafting (under anesthesia). I had several follow-​up appointments (never waiting more than 5 minutes). The results of my augmentation were amazing — healthy new gum tissue! I would highly recommend Dr Khansari to my friends, neighbors and family. His entire staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at ease during the entire process!
As for the person who wrote the review complaining about being charged a copay — isn’t that something you should know (based on your particular plan) before you schedule a visit with a specialist? I received a printout of all the expected charges the day of my consultation and there were no additional hidden charges for my surgery and follow-​up appointments.

My Wife went to this office and got some consultation done.
After that she was told that her copay is $ 50.
They should have told her this beforehand.

I was referred to Dr. Khansari because I broke a tooth and needed an implant. The process required several visits over the period of about 6 months, but every time I arrived at the office Renee greeted me with a smile and I waited no more than 5 minutes – often did not wait at all – before I was seen. There were actually a couple of times Renee called to let me know the prior appointment was done early, so I could come early if I desired – refreshing in a world that seems to be moving more and more toward double-​booking appointments! Dr Khansari and his assistant/​hygienist Janet are efficient, professional, and kind. They showed me an informative video about the implant process and were patient with my questions afterward (I was having flashbacks to my undergrad days as a Bio major so I had quite a few questions!). Implants are expensive so had to pay quite a bit even after insurance, and they were flexible with my requested payment schedule. Their office is super clean and modern… if not for the anesthesia and drilling required by dentistry, you might think you were at a spa! Dental visits are never fun, but Dr Khansari and his staff offer such excellent customer service and periodontology to ensure their customers are satisfied and well taken care of.
