Allstate Moving Systems

We used Allstate Moving to move business. They did a great job! Ed was very responsive, helpful and friendly. He showed up on the move day to be sure the crew was ready to go. The crew was very quick and careful with our furniture. They made the day so much easier!

I had a poor experience with Allstate. Allstate was hired to move my belongings into long term storage. I was told they would call me with an estimated time they would be at my place to pack my things, which they did not do. The day they were scheduled to come I had to call them to find out what time they would be there. So I patiently waited, and their «scheduled» time to be at my place passed… Allstate did not show. I called their office when the movers were a half hour late only to be told that the movers were running late (duh) the receptionist assured me they would be at my place within an hour. So, on a moving day (big day/​lots of things to do), allstate caused me to waste an entire day. Thanks allstate. Poor customer service… what’s the point of having a schedule?
With that said, the movers did finally show up, and they were quite professional. Very meticulous and thorough. They showed great care for my belongings and were very fast.
I would use Allstate again. Perhaps this was a bad day for them, and the scheduling error was an isolated event.

Allstate was our local moving company who worked to get our stuff packed and sent to Massachusetts.
My wife and I were surprised and impressed how quickly everything was packed up and shipped (took two weeks). Everytime I emailed a concern, they answered my questions and reassured me. I definitely suggest Allstate Moving Systems :-)

Different crews loading and unloading without any problems. The move was 300 miles and came in well under quoted estimate.

I recently had to move twice – once from a home I’d been in for 21 years. Allstate was simply outstanding. Becky Grimm and Joe Almeida coordinated both moves like consummate professionals; they are thoroughly trustworthy. The packing, which included many delicate items and many antiques, was also superb. I recommend Allstate Moving Systems without reservation.

We made a local move and I called United Van Lines as they were great for us in the past. Their local agent is Allstate.
Everything was great through the entire process. They charge $ 95 hr for two guys and a truck. From the mult. quotes we received it was in the ballpark price of the competitors.
Our movers were on time and were careful with all our stuff. They wrapped all our furniture and were very efficient.
I would recommend Allstate to anyone, our experience was great.

We recently used Allstate Moving for a two part move — one local and one long distance. We have moved many times and I always dread it. But this time, the entire move process was a breeze.
We had a very complicated situation because, in addition to the two-​in-​one move locations, the place we were leaving from had no loading area whatsoever. Trucks were supposed to park on the busy street and the movers to carry our stuff while dodging traffic. I was completely stressed out worrying about how this would work. Then I called Allstate Moving.
Greg Stephan came out to do our survey. He asked lots of questions, thought of a million things that I would never have thought of and came up with a brilliant solution to the moving van on the busy street problem. Throughout the whole process, anytime I had a question or concern he was just a quick (reassuring) phone call away.
The local move crew (Jeff, Randy and Mike), the crew that packed up our long-​distance stuff (Kevin, Dave, Santiago and Andy) and the guys who delivered the long distance move (Troy and Tim) were, to a man, the best movers we have ever worked with.
Every single one of these guys was professional, courteous, cautious and thorough. Everything arrived where it was supposed to, when it was supposed to and in perfect condition.
All of my stress about the difficult logistics went away because the attitude of everyone at Allstate — from Greg and from all of the crew members — was that it was their job to figure things out and I didn’t need to worry about it. And figure it out they did.
We will be doing one more move in another year and you can bet we will be calling Allstate Moving Systems for the job.

I have used these guys for 2 local moves and they were outstanding both times. They showed-​up right on time and were very professional. I’ve used movers before that I had to think twice before letting them in my house, but they were uniformed and conducted themselves extremely professionally while at our home. They even had to extricate a very heavy safe out of a closet and down two flights of stairs, without so much as a single complaint. Yes, will use them again when I move next.

If I had the option of NO stars, that’s what it would be. Because they don’t even deserve one star!
I have NEVER used a moving company in all my years of moving. I finally chose to do so because a neighbor is their broker.
We only went 1 exit from my old place to new. I was told they didn’t need to wrap the furniture because it was such a short distance. Besides a long list of complaints, they managed to break the glass door on my buffet, ding up my headboard and break off a piece of my desk. The only mentioned about the desk because they couldn’t hide that obvious break. I even paid extra insurance with a $ 250 deductible. They came back to me swearing that Kevin and Santiago noticed the desk was already broken when they took it out of the office. REALLY? Do I look that stupid to you… that I would leave a broken piece sitting next to the desk?
They told me to contact a moving damage repair company who could assess my damages… at a cost of around $ 125. Are you EFFING kidding me?
I was told my damages would not meet the $ 250. HA! The glass door alone costs over $ 180 without installation AND, you would have to match the glass. If not, you replace both!
They didn’t even move everything they were suppose to.
All in all, the company chose to believe their movers and say F U to the customer!!!
I have my own business and, am touted with having excellent customer service. They need to be schooled!

Allstate Moving systems is both trustworthy and organized. There are a lot of shady moving companies out there and as a real estate broker I tell my clients to be very cautious. I highly recommend Nick Luni with Allstate Moving Systems!

I recently had the opportunity to relocate to Texas for a new position but needed to pick up and move an entire apartment from Santa Monica, CA all the way to Dallas, Texas. My girlfriend had suggested hiring a moving company and some how I stumbled across AllState.
This is by far THE BEST moving company. I was in complete aw as to how accommodating they were with my schedule and were happy to work around it. The crew was very fast and efficient and got all of my fragile belongings to Texas in one piece.
I recommend Allstate to all of my girlfriends and assure them that moving doest have to be such a hassle anymore, especially when you have such a great trustworthy company getting you in to your new place!

TERRIBLE COMPANY !!! Lots of added expenses after the initial estimate, My belongings were moved from Indiana to California, Many things damaged, the movers we extremely careless while bringing my stuff in the house, NOTHING WAS ASSEMBLED (kitchen table, patio table… every piece of furniture) The company never returns phone calls after they have moved you. I’m thankful my items arrived, because after 2 weeks from leaving Indiana I still didn’t have my furniture, it sat in a storage house until they felt like bringing it to me. Horrible experience.

We’re a military family and have moved all over the country several times. Allstate is by far the best moving company we have dealt with. There pick up and delivery was quick and on time. No box was out of place and there was no damage to any of our items. Hopefully this will be our last move but if we have to again we’ll defiantly be going with Allstate!
