Dermal Rejuvenation & Day Spa

I was pleasantly surprised when I found this gem of a spa. I was not expecting to find such a classy, elegant place as this in a strip mall on Poway Road. I believe the ambiance of a day spa is important and this spa definitely has a relaxing, peaceful feeling to it, from the soothing music to the tropical plants and wonderful smells. I have had treatments by both Pam and Dr. Nader and was very happy with both. They are both very personable and friendly. It is obvious they genuinely care about their clients. They are both very experienced and they seem to love answering my many questions regarding my skin. I’m getting a series of 6 microdermabrasion/​glycolic peels and I am loving the way my «new and improved» skin looks and feels. I look forward to my hour or more of pampering each time! I also love that the products they use are all natural.

Dr. Nader is amazing! Thorough, professional, and my skin looks and feels great. The lighting and décor are well done and the linens and blankets are good quality. Had the oxygenation treatment and I will be back for more!

This place is great, with very helpful people, great ambiance, and Dr. Nader would never give you a bad advice.

Do not be confused by thinking this is a medical spa. It is not. A chiropractor is not an MD. The treatments are at such a low grade that there is no noticeable and lasting difference. I have had IPL, micro-​pen needling, and radio frequency here. Each treatment was quick and at ineffective levels. No spots darkening and falling off with IPL. The radio frequency treatment was like 2 minutes max on each side of my face. The needling left no redness and it didn’t feel like anything was done at all. With micro-​pen you are normally numbed first and after half hour of needling your face is red and hot. You know that something was done. In addition to the questionable effectiveness of their treatments, I have to agree with the people that don’t have much time spent on them. Every time I came here I received only a few minutes of actual treatment. The rest of the time I waited with hydrating masks where they left me to «relax» as they juggled other clients. Relaxing is one thing but a 15 minute mask, followed by a 2 minute treatment, followed by a 20 minute mask, followed by a 5 minute treatment, followed by a 40 minute mask, is a joke. Anyway, just be aware and know what you are getting into before you sign up for a series because you need to pay up front and may not want to waste your valuable time and money on a series of treatments that won’t make a difference.

If you want to look 10 years younger instantly with no gimmicks with natural treatments this is the place for you! From my first visit I saw the change in my skin immediately. I have the facial that includes your neck and décolleté area as well, which is very hard to find anyone who includes that area, ask for the Non surgical Face Tightening and Lift treatment. You can not go wrong with this treatment. Dr. Nader and his lovely wife Pamela give first class treatments and are very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them!

I was introduced to the spa treatments through a group coupon deal and I am very happy to be coming here. The rooms are kept very clean, soft music playing with the environment very calm and soothing. Dr. Nader and Pam have been treating my skin with microdermabrasion, photofacial, glycolic peels and other soothing facial treatments leaving my skin feeling and looking smooth and refreshed. They will offer advice and answer questions but nothing is ever forced on you. This is a place that you will feel welcomed and comfortable once you make your first visit.

I love this place. Pam has been giving me wonderfully relaxing and rejuvenating facials for about 3 years now, and I’ve never been disappointed. The products she uses always smell and feel so good and I get so relaxed that I usually fall asleep on the table.
So glad I bought a groupon for a facial originally. Pam’s excellent facials keep me coming back monthly.

Honestly, love this place. I got a killer deal on groupon then they set me up with a plan for photo facial, microdermabrasion, and chemical peel. Every time I go in I feel welcomed. I even messed up my appointment this week (i totally spaced on what day it was. Yikes!) yet they were kind and had me book my next appointment with ease. Totally recommend this place!

Great 1^st experience, looking forward to my next visit. Staff was friendly and professional. I had the photo facial, microdermabrasion, and glycolic peel. My skin feels and looks amazing. Dr. Nader answered all my questions and made me feel relaxed. He has a great positive attitude.

I Highly recommend this place, everybody is very friendly. Dr. Nader is wonderful, very knowledgeable. He takes time to give you the best results, always has a positive attitude, he does a great job, helps you relax, feel pampered and answer all your questions. I am doing a Photofacial, Microdermabrasion treatment and Glycolic peel, he is also doing my neck for those fine wrinkles that you start getting after sleeping on your side every night. I love this treatment, my skin feels tighter, smoother and younger, i final found a place where they keep their word and don’t surprise you with extra charges that you don’t know about, a place you can trust.

Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
The estheticians are RUDE they spend a max of 15 minutes with you in the room on your treatment.
There is no light massages or anything included while your mask is on.
Customer service is HORRIBLE!!!

I’ve been coming to this spa once a month for about year now, getting the photo rejuvenation facials each time. And every month I look forward to coming because it’s always relaxing and my face always feels so smooth and fresh when I leave. And as another plus the employees are very sweet to call and remind me of my appointment and while I’m here they recommend the right type of products I should use for my skin type. My face use to not go a day without breaking out now I hardly ever breakout. Needless to say my skin is healthy, cleaned and small pores and that’s why I keep coming back. RI

I have been going to this spa for over a year for microdermabrasion and photo facials. My sister has been going here for a few years and got me a gift certificate as a gift. After my first service I ended up getting the package deal and its been great. I love that I can pay on the package and have guaranteed facials every other month. The light treatments have made a dramatic difference in the appearance of my skin and my really dark age spots are almost completely gone. I’m officially hooked and love how soft and clear my skin looks thanks to regular facials. Pam is great and has very gentle hands and Dr Nader is a nice guy. Happy to be a regular customer and would recommend this small spa to anyone looking to get pampered.

I have been getting regular monthly facial treatments for over two years. Everyone always comments on how young I look and I believe it is due, in part to my treatments here. Dr. Nader and his staff are very professional and they try very hard to give you the best service they can. Monthly phone reminders and great service each time.

I’ve been going to Dr. Harerchan for a couple years for microdermabrasion with radio frequency and photofacials. My skin is oily and acne-​prone, and Nader’s treatments have been a great help in removing pore-​clogging debris. Nader and his entire staff are very friendly, professional, and courteous. The treatments are also reasonably priced, especially if you purchase a six-​visit package deal. I definitely endorse this spa and look forward to my monthly treatment!

I love the new treatment I just tried at Dermal Rejuvenation. I have been getting regular treatments for a couple of years now (I wrote an earlier review). This new treatment is micro needling followed by the 24kt Gold mask. It was painless and the results are amazing. My skin is so smooth and clear and tight and the pores are tiny. It looks really moist and fresh.
In the two years I’ve been going to Dr. Nader, I’ve had only pleasant, professional experiences. They are always ready for me when I come in, and I see more improvement each time. (This last time was huge!) As we age, our skin looks worse if we don’t do something about it. I shudder to think what I would look like now if I hadn’t gone in. Having visited other skin treatment centers, this place is very reasonable.

I purchased a groupon for photo facial, dermabrasion and glycolic peel. When I called to make my appointment I spoke with Dee. She was very nice and set up my appointment. She also gave me very detailed directions to their location which I thought was interesting. On my way to the appointment, I realized how far out in Poway this was, and even though I didn’t write down her directions what I remembered helped. Because of the location I knew I wouldn’t be returning after my appointment.
The inside was pretty nice. They had hot tea and a water feature. Since it is a spa, I was hoping some of the flowers would have been real. The room was ok.
Dr. Nader (DOC) came in to do the services. He introduced himself and explained he is a chiropractor and an aesthetician. I can’t help but wonder why a Doctor of Chiropractic is doing facials. Must be a lucrative business?
I’ve had plenty of facials in the past. He did a quick cleanse. Applied the glycolic peel, which didn’t feel like it was very strong at all. He used the lightest dermabrasion wand and did it very quickly. We went into another room for the photo facial. I thought it was going to be IPL. Dr. Nader did say this is not as strong.
I let the Dr. know I was moving to NC this weekend so he wouldn’t have to give me the speal on how many times I need to come in to really see the difference. I would not pay the full price for these services.
All in all, not an amazing experience for me. I had all of this done on the 7^th and I cannot tell/​see a difference.

I provided a fair review on the services received, the business approach which I disagreed with, and even commented that the service provider (Nader) as kind and gentle. It was even-​handed and truthful. as all Unilocal reviews (in an ideal world) should be.
To the business representative/​cohort who created a Unilocal account for the sole purpose of harassing reviewers who gave 2 stars (it wasn’t even a 1 star review. until now). the means and manner by which you opted to contact me and confront my review was improper to boost your ratings.
