Very disappointed with IHS support staff. I needed copies of three MRIs I had completed several months ago at the Poway location. When I called, I was told to drop in and they’d make a CD for me. However, getting a copy took more than 20 minutes. I requested all three MRI scans. When I received the CD I was assured by the receptionist all three were copied. This was also noted on the CD under«exam type.» Unfortunately, the CD did not contain one of the three I needed. It was a huge issue because I have stage IV cancer and it’s progression is determined by comparing these exams every three months. I went to MD Anderson in Texas for a second opinion with the CD in hand. It wound up being a waste of time and money because the exam they needed for comparison was the one missing on the CD. Fortunately my local physician was able to get a copy through IHS directly, but not in time for my consultation in TX.

Been waiting and waiting… When checking in a asked how long they said only one ahead of you… What they forgot to mention was that everyone was at lunch. All the staff were very nice and helpful, but I would have come back later if I had known I would be waiting 1.5 hrs

Extremely unprofessional. I walk in at 11:55 and they look right at me and tell me they will be with me in a minute and to have a seat. Another person walks in and they tell her the same. After 15 minutes the person to walk in after me asks if she can at least check in and they tell her and myself they didn’t know we were waiting to check in for an appointment. No big deal right? The lady at the desk takes my insurance info and has me fill out paper work and tells me to sit down again. I wait another 15 minutes only for her to tell me the ultra sound machine broke at 10 am this morning and they need to reschedule me! My appointment was at 12:30. They couldn’t tell me it was broken before I drove an hour to their office? Or maybe in the 35 minutes I sat in their waiting room? THEN when trying to reschedule me she tells me they have an escondido location I can reschedule with, I say yes and then she says«oh I’m sorry, they closed down a year ago» SO unprofessional.

This radiology operation is the worst I’ve ever been to ever! Had a MRI scheduled. The day before my MRI at 4 pm, I didn’t hear from Imaging Specialists Healthcare to confirm my 9:30 am appointment next day, or to instruct me what I needed to bring or prepare for. Found out the radiologist wanted me to take prednisone at 12:30 am that night. Nobody told me this. Called my doctors office, Greybill Medical and fortunately Dr Rascle’s nurse is awesome. She was working with another doctor this week as Dr Rascle was on vacation. She was able to get another doctor to write the order for prednisone at 5:30 pm. My husband had to go and wait 1 hour at the pharmacy and didn’t get home until 7 pm Monday night. Pre-registered on their system the day I scheduled the appointment after an email was sent to me by Imaging Healthcare Specialists. No other communication or instructions were sent to me via email to instruct me what I needed to do prior to my appt. Went to my MRI appt next day and found out I would be fully inserted into the MRI machine for no less than 1 hour. I would of thought most people couldn’t do that long without a mild sedative. Nothing told to me. Today, received a call from someone at Imaging Healthcare Specialists telling me they can’t read my MRI without a copy of my most recent mammogram. Wow! If I would have known the day I scheduled my appt, or the day before, I could have picked up from Greybill Medical, my mammogram. So here we are 2 days later and I’m being told? It will mean I take off work, drive 2 hours round trip to deliver what I could of the day of my appt. This organization needs an overhaul of their management team!!! I am/was extremely disappointed!

most times when you have to get x-ray or blood drawn… it’s a night mare. not this day at this place during this time. ] i waited maybe 12 – 14 mins to get in back. once in back, i was 10 mins max and out the door. my total visit was less than 30 minutes total. X-ray tech was a man, a nice man… he told me what he was doing all along the way, didn’t leave me there to wonder and worry. very helpful. very clean. very well done.

Been here several times. Always seen promptly and the imaging reports are ready the next morning. Excellent prices and wonderful staff.
