Lee gave me my 0 fade haircut and it looks amazing. What a great price for a great cut. Will be coming here from now on :). Best Asian haircut place in San Diego.

I have been getting my hair cut here for over 10 years. I used to go to an ex-military barber up by Nellis AFB, and Pacific Barber was the first place I found in San Diego where I could get the same, clean-it haircut every time. The staff are very nice, but have an old-world formality. If you want to talk, they will talk to you, otherwise they leave you be and do their work very professionally. David(first chair) is an excellent barber, but I usually go to Sarah in the fifth chair since she knows exactly the kind of cut I want and does it perfectly every time. You can’t beat the $ 9 price either.

Very quick and solid haircut! No artificial small talk, humble and kind personnel! The staff cuts your hair to exactly what you ask them for. Been here 6 – 7 times… every time it was spot on! Thanks!

This is my second time coming to this establishment and they have messed up my haircut twice. This place does not cut hair well and it’s the B team of haircut shops. If you want a great haircut, choose anywhere else(aka Charlie’s Barber shop). Worst. Barbers. Ever.

Best barbershop around, I tried all the local barbershops when I moved to Poway 4 years ago, and this one was always the best, with very little wait time even when busy, always friendly. Also does good beard trims.

Wow! We have driven passed this place a gazzilion times never stopping in. My husband was fed up with the barber shop around the corner that blamed his last terrible haircut on a imaginary cowlick that they said he had. He likes to get the old school style type haircuts. Nice fade and combed back. Think 1940s style. This place is CHEAP $ 8 for a haircut and they do a very good job. He was very happy and I too am very happy. Thankfully we never have to go back to the shop around the corner again. Thanks so much for making my hubby extra handsome.

If you care about yourself and would like a half decent haircut, go somewhere else, this is not the place. I walked in and none of the three«barbers» even acknowledged me. The wait was short, not many people there, which I now understand why. I ask for a medium FADE on the sides(0 to a 3) and a small trim on top. After almost an hour of watching my hair get completely butchered, the woman(who doesnt speak a lick of english) is pushed aside by the male who seems to have more experience and begins the impossible task of unf*king my hair. 15 minutes later I walk out 10 dollars lighter and a line longer than Charlie sheens bump that runs around my head where the«fade» should have been.(They charged me 8 but couldnt stand another second there, so I threw a 10 and walked out). Take your kids here if they want an expired lollipop after a sh*tty haircut. But dont waste your time, money, and hair by going to this circus act

Great place to come if you’re already in the area and in need of a quick, quality, cost conscious cut.

I’ve been coming here since I was introduced to it by my uncle. Once you get in it will be easy to see that it’s a no-frills barbershop but that’s definitely nothing to worry about. I always get my hair cut by David and it’s consistently the way I ask. $ 8 + tip and you have a great haircut. I’ll always be coming here.

David is the man to go to, I’m very pleased with my haircut, no wonder there are lots of guys waiting for him. All people in the shop are very friendly, clean place. I’ve tried all of the hair cut places on Poway rd already but only Pacific Barber is the ONE.

David is the way to go, listens to what kind of haircut you want and is consistent than any other barber and the price is definitely worth it. One of the ladies are good but there was a one lady who screwed up my hair went way to high on the side like a military cut I was pissed so be careful hahaha

Growing up, my dad used to cut my hair. No frills, not much conversation because he had to concentrate on what he was doing or he’ll fuck up my hair. I get the same thing here except I have to pay an extra 8 bucks. You’ll get some old military retirees walking in, friendly, chatty, getting their crew cuts, high and tight. Parking is adequate but you may have to compete with the folks working out at LA Fitness nearby. It helps to stop by the ATM before walking in. They take CASH only. If you like the cut, tip them a dollar.

My bf loves this place because they provide quality haircuts for 8 dollars. This barbershop is very clean with no frills. Sarah is his favorite because she provides a consistent nice even haircut.(Even when my bf has a really weird shaped head!) She’s there Wednesday-Sunday.

I was driving around looking for a good haircut place, and I found this location using what else… Unilocal :) This is a typical looking barber shop. Although it’s not old«wise guy» type of barbers, but most of the folks that I saw cutting hair were Asians. So, I was confident that they will know how to cut my type of hair(Filipino). I had the only male barber cutting my hair. He was very good and not a lot of conversation. This is a no frills haircut place. The price is very Good, and It’s exactly what I like. Extra things I noticed where the very comfortable chairs and the use of blow dryers after the cut. Something I don’t ever remember being used at other barber shops that I have been to. I recommend this place if you are someone who just need a quick cut no frills type of person. I will definitively be coming back again. Thumbs up!

This is a simple laid-back no frills barber shop which is what I like. It’s first come, first serve and usually you don’t have to wait too long unless its a Saturday. The barbers are mostly female with one male barber that I’ve seen since going there. The guy is very thorough and I would suggest waiting for him. Not a lot of chit-chat but thats good because the barbers focus on giving a good, affordable($ 7 for men) haircut.

It’s really a 3.5. I thought the haircut was competent. Very quick with no waiting(I was in and out in less than 12 minutes). They were moderately friendly but don’t expect a lot of chatter or discussion if you’re used to that in a barbershop. All of the barbers were Asian and didn’t talk a great deal except in native tongue. $ 7 for boys and men. I’ll definitely go back since it’s right next to the gym and very convenient, and if the haircuts are consistently good I’ll bump it up to 4.0 stars.

Great barbershop. I’m not too picky on styling my hair, I just like it cut short every month or two. The wait can be a tad long on Saturdays, but I have found that Sundays are a bit quicker. They have about 3 – 5 people cutting hair at any given time, depending on the crowd or hours, I guess. It’s a simple barbershop, first come first serve that can cut adult and kids hair. Not a bad haircut yet!
