5 stars mostly for customer service! The food is good; a lot of times great. It’s what I expect from Panda. I realize it’s not fine Chinese dining. My faves are Orange Chicken and Sweet Fire Chicken. I realize sometimes I may come in near the end of the Orange Chicken, where it’s not as fresh. I also realize I could probably ask them to make a fresh batch and they would, I’m just not that person to ask unless it really looks like crap! Haha I also realize that after I try to finish my whole 2-item w chow mein, that I will more than likely regret that decision… But it’s so good! Haha So the food is good enough to keep me coming back :) As far as customer service, I really just wanted to praise one employee. It seems like every time I come to this Panda, Zam is always working and the one to take care of me. She is great! So sweet every time, and very efficient at her job! I feel as though I leave a little more cheery after every time I see her haha. And always a contagious smile on her face! Great asset to the Panda company. :)

Its panda express so i dont think i could ever really give 5 stars. Food was good, rice may have been a bit clumpy but not a deal breaker. I really liked the Beijing beef. I have never had it before and i was very impressed. Will most likely return.

I got as far as the crap all over the toilet seat and the disgusting smelling tray and had to walk out. Who ever owns this place needs to train their employees in basic cleaning. Didn’t even want to try the food even though I was starving…

I won’t be coming to this location anymore. I’ll make a trip up to Carmel mountain next time I want panda. I’ve been here twice recently and the first time my order was messed up.(I should have checked it Before I left). The next time they were out of almost everything I wanted. They told me to wait 5 minutes for orange chicken which I’m fine with, but I also wanted Beijing beef and they didn’t have enough for a whole side but also didn’t offer to make more. I mean, I’m already waiting for the orange chicken… So I ordered something else instead. I also asked for a side of cream cheese wontons and they had them but by the time I got home they were soggy and the crispy parts were burnt… Very odd combo. While I was waiting I must have just picked a bad table because the table I sat at had chow mien noodles all over it. And I ended up waiting 15 minutes instead of 5. Sorry Panda, this location is not a good look for you.

I had a great experience at Poway Panda Express on a catering order. They helped me place order, food was ready when I came to pick up and most important the food was fresh and yummy. My guests all approved of the food and ate heartily. I would recommend them to anyone!

Panda Express is cheap, large proportions, always greet you with a smile, the décor is amazing, the service is great. They are always willing to give you lots of fortune cookies!!! Family nights are awesome, the food is amazing!!! This is from my 14 year old daughter, she is obsessed with panda, her mom and dad are too!!!

I usually go here once a week for take out dinner. I really like the fried rice and chow mein combo. The Orange chicken is my favorite. I always make sure I get some of that. Then I alternate my other choice with either beef broccoli or the pork. The line can get rather long at dinner time and I have had to wait for them to refill the pan with food a couple times but I guess the can only cook so much at once. I always look forward to coming here. Parking is never really a problem which is good. I is best to get the food around 5 or 6 the longer you wait towards closing the less fresh it will be.

Hello all, so I am new to this area for work. I was in the mood for some Chinese and long behold I see Panda Express. Thought I would stick with the familiar and try this location out. Lunch time hour so of course the place is packed by the time I make it up to the counter their selection had become significantly less. You would think they would start to refill as soon as they start to scrape the pan. Nope!!! I received a very small portion to what I ordered, and to top it off as soon as I paid they refilled all their trays. I am not a happy camper. Better luck next time I guess. That’s IF I decided to go back.

Food is good before 7 pm. …after that it is not very good. They know they are open until 9 pm but they don’t make anything fresh and if you ask them to it is a hugh inconvenience for them to do their job… how dare you… if it is past 7 stay away.

Stopped in on our way home from local shopping. This visit was quiet, but as we were getting our food to go it started to get busy. The food tasted like it was left out for a while and too much sauce was on the orange chicken. I’ve tasted better.

So even though I read the previous poor reviews, I had to go check it out on my own. I love Panda Express! But this one like the previous reviews, didn’t have all the dishes prepared after it opened up. I got there at 10:30am. It only had fired rice, chow mien, orange chicken, beef and broccoli, Kung pao chicken, mushroom with chicken and egg rolls.(Hopefully they were not left overs from last night) Customer service was ok, she was nice and I was greeted once I entered but right when I ordered, I felt rushed. So rushed that I forgot to get spicy chilli sauce and soy sauce. I had to find some siracha sauce at work. Food still tasted the same as any other Panda Express. I would’ve given it a 5 stars if they had all or most of the dishes available to satisfy my cravings for brunch this morning. The place was clean and decent.

I got really sick after I ate this food. I couldn’t even finish my food because I instantly got really sweaty and hot and my stomach hurt really bad, I felt like I had to puke, I couldn’t move, I felt like I was going to pass out. It was horrible. And the guy named Martin is a total ass. He didn’t say hi, he didn’t say welcome, he acted like he was the manager and he was just a crew. He kept talking down to the other crews then he was talking in Spanish to his«friend» that worked there and it was just really rude and unprofessional. I do not like this place or the people. Very rude, fast talking and disrespectful. I will not go here again.

I like the Carmel Mountain location. They offer eggplant and tofu which isn’t offered at some locations. I also think the staff is very nice!

This panda express has very oily food and not satisfying to taste. The food sometimes makes you feel bloated when you eat it but orange chicken is only thing I enjoy to eat. Overall it’s a sub-par buffet.

This Panda Express sucks. Worst service ever. No food is ready all needs to be made and the manager or whoever was wearing the dirty yellow shirt had a huge attitude problem and not very generous with the food as most other ones should be.

Out all the panda express restaurants I’ve been in, this location just has a bad energy vibe, all the worker look like they wonna kill someone, they don’t even smile when customers come in, maybe they are just feeling the rush hour kicking in, but overall the food is ok, I’ve had better at other locations^_^

I’ve eaten at a lot of Panda Express restaurants without issue. But for some reason, every time I eat here my stomach turns. I mean every time. Maybe its from the cockroaches mentioned in other reviews, lack of sanitizing or other food prep/storage issues. But this place almost guarantees the use of Imodium AD. Let’s move beyond the Imodium to the food. The portions are stingy and filled with onion to take up space and save them $$$ and I’d forget about ordering a shrimp entrée, it’s been sitting there for hours and when you finally pay the extra money to upgrade to the shrimp, they give you 6pcs. They can hand out samples to 20 people in line, but you finally buy it and get 6pcs? Fill the container please. The steamed veggies are old and if not old, they are rushed to make some and are undercooked. If you want Chinese food, go somewhere else. Even the lowly City Dragon beats this cookie cutter corporate Chinese Giant. If you like Panda, drive to another location. Trust me.

I’ve been eating at Panda Express for years, I really like the Poway location because it’s clean so… I thought. The people there were nice and greeted us well, even let us sample a few things. But when I got the food I was disappointed… everything was dry, overcooked like it’s been sitting there all day. Then while we were eating I saw a large cockroach run across the floor. An employee quickly got up and stomped on it and kicked it out the door with her shoe. YUCK! Good thing because who knows where it was heading. After that I just couldn’t stomach being there, besides that one of us actually got sick as soon as we got home. Very disappointed in the store, for unhealthy standards and dried out food!

Americanized Chinese fast food. Let’s be real, we all know this is the equivalent of what taco bell is to Mexican food, but for the same reason’s we love it all the same. It will never pass as authentic, it will never be considered fine dining, but sometimes you just need some orange chicken. I love the fact that they are now offering up healthier options, and even using brown rice in their fried rice. I’m not so sold on them mixing in other cuisines(teriyaki chicken?) but whatever, it’s not like they were following the rules in the first place. Definitely the better option in comparison to pick up stix.
