Dr. Trestman is a very knowledgeable physician and has a warm bedside manner. He has many years of critical care medicine experience and is still an active ICU pulmonologist.

For almost 5 years I have been coughing up phlegm, mostly at night. I’ve been to several doctors over the years who said I had asthma, sinus infection, etc., and then finally, someone recommended Dr. Kenneth Trestman (North San Diego). He LISTENED to what I was experiencing and asked a lot of questions. He was kind, caring, and thoughtful. He said he had an idea of what I may have, but wanted to run some tests. Two weeks later, he discovered what I had and now I am on medication. For the first time in a long, long time, my coughing is almost gone! My family and I no longer worry about that nagging question, «What’s wrong with me?» I am so thankful I met Dr. Trestman.
