At The Tutoring Center, we specialize in helping children master academic skills and increase their concentration, attention span, and focus. Before you enroll in one of our programs, we conduct a Diagnostic Assessment that quickly and accurately pinpoints your child’s strengths and weaknesses and the skills needed for improvement. We develop a personalized program and then give your child the finest instruction possible in a positive, fun, and caring environment.

Established in 2011.

The Tutoring Center had it’s grand opening on June 30, 2012.

Meet the Business Owner

Henry L.

Business Owner

The Tutoring Center in Powder Springs is owned by Henry L Lust and Gail Coelho Lust, Powder Springs residents. Henry received his bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics from Brown University in Providence, RI. He worked for the IBM Corporation for 35 years, retiring in 2011 where he was a Global Manager in IBM’s Global Process Services organization. He understands the importance of mastering basic skills as well as complex concepts. Henry is committed to helping the children in his community improve their academic skills, become better students and get ahead of grade level. «We must prepare our children for the competitive global world economy in which they will compete … starting with the community in which I live.»
