The Academy exists to stand alongside Christian parents, assisting them in the task of reproducing the mind of Christ in the lives of their children.

A thoroughly Christian education is an education that will prepare a child to find his place in the will of God, no matter where that may lead him. Such an education is not meant to isolate the student from the world, but to equip him to boldly engage the world for the cause of Jesus Christ.

The Scriptures plainly teach that parents are not just to be involved, but are responsible for the education of their children.

The administration, faculty, and staff of the Academy are eager to assist you in faithfully discharging that responsibility.

History

Established in 1971.

The Academy was founded as a ministry of the Temple Baptist Church in Powell, Tennessee in the fall of 1971. Since its establishment over thirty-​eight years ago, the Academy has continued to serve families throughout this area by providing a quality Christian education for students in preschool through 12^th grade.

God has marvelously blessed the Academy and its students throughout the years. Our graduates have furthered their education in many colleges and institutions across the nation and around the world.

Our students enjoy a wonderful and distinctive heritage, and we are trusting God to lead us to an even greater future.
