Horrible experience. I brought my desk drawer front in to have it touched up where a chair had rubbed the finish off. Instead of staining it he painted it. I asked him to redo it and he replied he would only paint it more and make it look even more heavy handed. Unacceptable and I would suggest you think long and hard about entrusting him with your furniture if this is the best he can do.
