Yes, these hometown stores with local charm still exist. This small hardware shop offers special seasonal items, along with the typical tools and accessories. I just purchased a beautiful boxwood wreath for the holidays. Expect personal service, charm and kind employee’s.

A great neighborhood fix-it shop. They’re not the biggest store and they don’t have everything under the sun BUT if you can’t find what you need in order to do the job, you didn’t try hard enough. Their staff is always eager to help and they’ll go out of their way to make sure leave with a smile on your face(as well as a sense of confidence about completing the job).

I went to Euston’s for the first time yesterday. I needed some screws & bolts for my Real Estate signs. I was asked right away if I needed help and the sales clerk helped me find exactly what I needed! Very friendly & helpful! I will go back!

I love Euston’s! It has what I need, has nuts and bolts by the piece and despite the help being young, they are helpful. They know where the stuff is, and for young kids, they try pretty hard. It’s not«Plumber’s Friend», it’s not Lowes/Home Despot”, but it is down home old fashioned. While it’s not Strausser’s either, it is a small version of Strausser’s. I don’t care what anyone else says, Euston’s has earned my business by helping me, by having what I want and for letting me buy just one nut or bolt at a time! At $ 0.06 per piece, I could rule the world for less than a million! It’s amazing!

While I do like the thought of a neighborhood hardware store over a big box store, Euston’s is avoidable. The school age«help» is atrociously bad at helping or even pretending to help. I live a block away and still would drive somewhere else than go here.

Euston’s Hardware is a charming store that encapsulates 1950’s customer service and the modern needs of today’s man. Really, they have everything a hardware store should carry, from nuts and bolts to fertilizers and lawnmowers, to even a print/fax/copy area for the urban dwellers. If you’re in the middle of a project, avoid the big box stores that have made home repair diy trendy, and go with the old fashioned neighborhood store. Chances are the staff here can assist you better than any«expert» at the chain places. Also, check out their website – it’s super cute and from the moment you enter the site, you start feeling better about supporting a mom and pop business.
