Description

Specialties

We are an upper-end men’s shop with each stylist trained exclusively in men’s cutting… from skin fades to long hair razor cuts. Our atmosphere is modern, clean, and technologically advanced. We also offer hot towel shaves, men’s manicures, and gray hair camo. Groomsmen events can use our Guitar Lounge for free and are welcome to bring in outside food and drink.

Walk-ins are welcome, but we’re a busy shop so appointments are preferred.

History

Established in 2007.

Sole Patch was opened in November of 2007. The name has several significant meanings for us: first, a «soul patch» is the facial hair men grow just beneath the lower lip. It was popularized in the 1950’s and 60’s within the «beatnik» culture and also grew in prominence among musicians. Second, the triangle is the strongest geometric structure in the universe and represent the trinity of body, mind, spirit. Third, the spelling of «soul» was changed to «sole» to better reflect our environment of being a collection of individuals, or a sole patch, the only one of its kind.

Sole Patch was inspired by and designed to be a «Men’s Lifestyle Company» with the shop at the center. A community of men engaged in, and sharing with each other, all the different things that can enrich our lives — from products, widgets and toys, to relationships, social networks and business opportunities.
