Yavapai Pediatrics is an exciting new medical practice conveniently located in the heart of Prescott Valley in the Prescott Valley Entertainment Center. Founder Clarisa Smith, MD is passionate about providing precise, punctual, pediatric care with an emphasis on prevention to her patients. Being a wife and mother of two, she understands how quickly a day slips by! That is one of the reasons why offering her patients timely appointments with shorter wait times is an efficiency that she and her team continually strives to deliver. Yavapai Pediatrics understands that the sooner your kids feel better, YOU feel better!

We offer patients precise, punctual, pediatric care with an emphasis on prevention.

We care about your child’s health and well-​being and strive to coach parents about cultivating and maintaining good health; but also understand a parent’s concern when their child is not well.

We strive to provide pediatric care in a warm, inviting (and happy) environment, where a child will feel safe and comfortable.

Our passion and commitment to each patient as well as to their parents and caregivers is to provide care in an efficient, timely, manner. We know that the sooner your child is examined, the sooner they will be on the road to recovery.

Established in 2013.

Yavapai Pediatrics was founded by Dr. Clarisa Smith in Aug 2013. Her desire to offer quality and efficient healthcare to children is what promted her to start this new adventure. Dr. Smith truly loves pediatrics and the care she is able to provider her patients. She has worked hard to develop a team that is kind, warm and friendly.

Dr. Smith is a board certified pediatrician. She is originally from Southern Arizona. Dr. Smith graduated from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in 2004 and completed a Pediatric Residency at the University of Arizona in 2007. Following her residency she was stationed at Travis Air Force Base where she served her country for 4 years as an active duty Physician in the Air Force. Dr. Smith moved to Prescott Valley, AZ in 2011 where she has continued to serve the community as a Pediatrician with full privileges at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. In August 2013, Dr. Smith founded Yavapai Pediatrics. Yavapai Pediatrics is busy, well respected medical practice in the heart of Prescott Valley. Dr. Smith has a strong passion for her patient’s physical and mental well-​being. She is active in community events, loves spending time with her husband and two children and enjoys cooking and outdoor activities
