History

Established in 2008.

Opening in 2008, Method Coffee brought to Prescott a brand new approach to making coffee. Owners Rachelle and Joseph Burton have 34 years combined experience in food and beverage, specializing in coffee since 1994. After both graduating from ASU, and tiring quickly of the corporate world, they returned to Prescott to set up shop. With a deep background and knowledge in every step of of a coffee’s life, from seed to cup, Method Coffee is the result of a pure desire to bring exceptional coffee to Prescott. (all the hard work earned us Pop Rocket’s Best Coffee House in Prescott 2009)

I’ve been there about 5x. The coffe drinks are always good. Once, I had a muffin and it was very good. The service has always been good. The music can be a bit too loud at times.

Nice clean coffee place with places to sit inside or out. Bathrooms are clean and they have a pretty good selection of goodies. Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There are great choices between a standard brew, French press, Chemix, or pour over. I got the poor over and it was very nice. I would have liked to try a French press or Chemix on my second trip but they only comes in sizes big enough to share. Great find in Prescott!

Love this place! Friendly atmosphere and quick service. The prices are decent, and it’s great they have a drivethrough. There’s a kids hot chocolate that’s just about $ 1, so it makes it easy to bring the kids.

This place is amazing! I usually get the blended drinks, and they are always perfect, and don’t separate like Starbucks frappuccinos. I have never waited for more than a few minutes for my order. The baristas there are always super nice, and they give my pup treats!

Absolutely extraordinary coffee & staff. They have a very interesting menu that is delicious and the place is sweet to hang out in. Their fancy coffee drinks are not drowning in sugar like other places, but still taste lovely. My favorite coffee in Prescott so far.

Friendly little not a chain kind of place. Stopped here befor visiting Embry Roddle with the Goo. Coffe was good, strudel was served on a real plate, and they greeted everybody with a friendly «good morning guys».

Truly excellent espresso here in Prescott! I am what they call a coffee nerd, and I tried Wild Iris and did not like the Dinah in the espresso. I was pleased to see a list of «notes» in the coffee and espresso when I arrived. Method Espresso has dark chocolate, walnut, blackberry and plum. Deep and smooth with a nice finish. Baristas were amazingly friendly and helpful. If you are espresso picky — this is the place!

I started going to Method out of convenience. What a blind blessing!
Their coffee is great, I enjoy the espresso macchiato or a drip coffee.
I have to say that I would probably go there only because the coffee is good, but their staff is absolutely outstanding. Everyone that has helped me has been sharp and kind. Five stars! Keep up the good work!

My one indulgence in life :) Everyone I encounter here is always so nice and cheerful. I wanted to try something new and on recommendation I tried the violet iced tea which was unbelievable! Glad I discovered this little gem.

While I understand local shops are geared around the coffee, I am a business traveler who was passing through Prescott and needed wifi. I would rather support a local business than a Starbucks, so I stopped and asked if internet access was available. After being assured that it definitely was, I was not able to access the Internet, and the staff told me they were too busy to try to address the situation after multiple inquiries for assistance. They basically said «we’re a coffee shop, not an internet café.» Back to the tried and true Starbucks when you need reliable service…

This place seriously has the best coffee in town. Delicious all around. Food is really good too. Could come here every day if I had the money. Minus 1 star as it is a tad expensive and I don’t think I’ve ever gotten to the window and not had to wait for at least 5 minutes before the drink is ready.

Very cool place, friendly staff, great atmosphere. I was ecstatic to see that they have Scottish shortbread cookies for sale. Made by a local family, I’ve been trying to find them for ages and was elated when my wife pointed them out to me. I will definitely be returning.

Method coffee is pretty good, as far as coffeeshops go. Beverages and pastries are generally tasty, for a reasonable price On taste alone, I’d give method 5 stars, but there are a few nitpicks that bring it down to four stars in my opinion. Though the baristas do a good job preparing drinks, ive received less-​than-​stellar customer service in other categories with depressing regularity. I’ve received the incorrect amout of change 3 times. For a retail establishment, i feel this is unacceptable. Also, if i customize a drink in any way (e.g. Ordering it with cinnamon on top) I usually have to ask again at the counter, because it is usually forgotten. Still, it is currently one of the best coffeeshops in prescott, and worth checking out, if you enjoy coffee.

Went to Method Coffee on Labor Day weekend. The crew was friendly, service quick and they got the order right. The cappuccino wowed my wife with a rating of 10! The vanilla latter is a 9 on my scale. Give this place a shot if you are in town. The only thing that would detract is it isn’t Seattle or Portland where they have quirky odd barista people with tattoos, piercings and odd clothing from the Salvation Army. It’s a modern looking place and the coffee isn’t as good as what you get when you go to a roasting house. I have only been to one coffee place in Prescott but I’ll bet that this is as good as it gets for the area. So comparing it to the area it’s a five star. Comparing it the the most amazing thing in the history of coffee it’s a weak 4.

Best coffee shop experience in town. The staff is consistently friendly, and they are always passionate about what they do. Have a question about one of the drinks on the menu? Ask. They are happy to help! Do you want something that isn’t on the menu? Ask! They’ll whip it up for you. Love the atmosphere, love the drinks, love the great service.
Next time you’re nearby, see if they have the pistachio flavoring (it’s seasonal). Order the latte. Get it blended. Die happy.

I don’t like leaving reviews like this one, ESP for small local shops, but wish I had read the others like it before making the trip over town to Method.
The concept is great (which is what attracted me); single-​cup brewing, tradition espresso beverages on the menu, images of latte art, and apparently steeped in the art community of Prescott.
However, after being declined 3 different beverages (including two single cup brewing options listed plainly on the menu) I settled for a beverage, which was then served up entirely different as described.
I was told the senior barista behind the bar did not know how to prepare the different beverages I had ordered (that were on the menu).
Staff was very cordial and professional about it, and seemed like cool folks, but I would think if the business is open on a Saturday there would be staff available who can prepare drinks that are on the menu.
Best of luck pursuing and perfecting the trail of specialty coffee.

Upgrade from Starbucks coffee but not a very strong flavor. I got a small cappuccino and it was basically a latte. Coffee has good flavor though and they have a lot of cool flavor options, like rose, lavender and cookie butter!
