Tried this for the first time with a group of six people. The only good thing I can say is the garden salad was good & my husband had the wings-he liked them. One friend had the platter with 2 meat choices; he picked chicken & ribs, ribs looked like jerky-dried out, same with chicken, only got 4 ribs… platter was $ 25…ridiculous! He said the beans were good & coleslaw was good also… same as other friends. The Brisket sandwich was dry(Costco was better). My 8″ pizza was awful-tasted like jarred sauce & not much pepperoni or sausage on it(thin crust). The place has a bar which had patrons, the six of us were it for the tables. Salt & pepper shakers were sticky & the place looked well worn. No wipes served with the ribs or wings-there was a roll of paper towels on the table. The service was fine but we won’t be back, just no effort made on the food.

My husband and I had high hopes for Sally’s BBQ but they were quickly dashed. My husband ordered the rib dinner with coleslaw and I ordered the brisket sandwich with beans. The ribs were dry and tough and worst of all, cold! It’s a good thing he has good teeth as I suggested he quit trying to chew what little meat there was but he was hungry and determined, I guess. He gnawed all he could on one and gave up on the rest. The coleslaw was flavorless and disappointing and school cafeteria quality at best.(I’ve actually had better salad in a school cafeteria!) The brisket meat itself was okay as far as tenderness but again, dry. It was served on a cold, white bread bun. There were no bottles of bbq sauce to be had on the tables, a surprise given they sell their sauces. Weird! I asked for extra sauce and a tablespoon at best was provided in a tiny little taste-test cup. The beans had to have been right out of a can… definitely not cooked on sight. We didn’t smell a smoker inside or out as one would think given they advertise«smoked fresh daily». This was by far the worst bbq we’ve ever had. We should have been paid to eat it instead of the money we wasted. Terribly disappointing and was so hoping for a great place we could support.

I’ve been to tastebuds many times over the years, and their pizza has alway been consistently good. I either get a hand tossed combo, or a thin crust meat lover pizza. I wasn’t sure how the restaurant was going to do when Sally’s BBQ took over, but I was pleasantly surprised! The pizza has remained exactly the same which made me very happy, and their BBQ is so dang good! The pulled pork sandwich is moist and bursting with flavor, and all of their homemade sides are to die for. Great and friendly staff, good prices, and a good beer selection for how small of a place it is. 5 stars for this little Prescott pizza and BBQ gem.

I would not recommend this place. Went here the other night with my husband food wasn’t great ribs were dry. The attitude of the staff was eh. I’m big on customer service and this was just meh. I would never spend money on a place without getting treat like… A guest. Just don’t waste your time.

Really bumbed about this place. Wanted it to be amazing. Waited 20 minutes for my husband to get a dr pepper then another to get a refill. I ordered an ice tea that tasted old and slimey. The glasses were dirty and the ice in the soda had a greasy film on it. Waited for an hour for food after ordering and had to leave my husbands blood sugar was dropping. We ordered a bbq beef brisket sandwhich idk why it would take over an hour to prepare. We left cash for our drinks plus more. We understand things like this happen its just disappointing.

Some of the best BBQ I’ve had. I ordered the plate with ribs, chicken and brisket. The all were fantastic! The BBQ beans are out of this world too. Lots of bacon in the beans! All of Prescott ought to give this place a try!

The pork sliders are amazing and the bbq sauce is great. Service was good. They gave us a free side of the baked beans for being first timers and they were fantastic. Sliders are $ 1 on Tuesdays!

Stopped in there for lunch. Drove by it several times in the past and made a mental note to stop by next time I was in town running errands. Small, little bar with several guys chatting it up with a friendly bar maid. Ordered a pulled pork sandwich and home made baked beans. Food was promptly served and was pretty good. Beans were especially good. The pulled pork was good. But, next time I’ll have the sauce on the side and add as needed. I’ll go back.

A disappointment, the ribs were a little dry, the sauce was lacking, and the pizza was so so. Sadly, the food just didn’t do it for us.

I had high hopes for this new BBQ joint that bought out Tastebud’s Pizza, soon after I walked in. There was a large smoker out front billowing smoke, and when I got inside I was greeted immediately when I walked up to the bar/counter. …Good start. My questions about the menu were answered and I learned that this is their second location. I was told the original is in Sedona and has been doing BBQ for around 30 years. …Anticipation building. I ordered some St Louis ribs and some other items to go. While I waited I was given a sample of their made-from– scratch baked beans and they were absolutely outstanding! Now I can’t wait to get home to try my food. The preparation was quick and my check was taken care of while I waited, with a little bit of friendly chat from the pitmaster. My order felt a little light when I picked it up but I didn’t worry too much. I was looking for quality, not quantity, in a good BBQ. Sadly, when I got home I found out I received neither. The coleslaw was completely flavorless, bland and nearly devoid of any dressing. Frankly, it was inedible. The ribs were lean and meaty but had been overcooked(or maybe held too long & reheated?) and had lost every bit of natural moisture they ever had. The sauce was lackluster with no real distinctive flavor– it neither enhanced nor covered up the dried flavorless ribs. What a disappointment; a complete letdown. The total for everything I bought was just under $ 19 and I was still hungry, which is rare for me as I am not that big of an eater. I am a big supporter of mom-and-pop establishments, and these folks are very friendly and seem to care. I’m hoping that this was just an off day for them, and that they do well here in Prescott. But as for me, I won’t be going back. Service 5STARS Price 2STARS Food 1STAR - I you feel this review is Useful, Funny, or Cool, please check the boxes below. Thanks.
