History
Established in 2010.
Smart with Art is a dynamic visual arts enrichment provider based in Snoqualmie, dedicated to bringing art to as many students as possible.
Our organization was born out of the concern that art was being drastically cut in so many public schools. Amy Friedman, founder and co-owner of Smart with Art, has been reaching children with art for the past twenty years in one form or another. An art educator by trade, she began with art parties in people’s homes. Then, as more requests for visual arts enrichment at schools reached her, the idea of Smart with Art was born. Now in our 5th year, we teach art enrichment at over 100 schools and locations throughout the greater Seattle area!
