History

Established in 1994.

Roseledge began in 1994 with the purchase of the historic John Meech house on route 164 a state scenic road, on the edge of the National historic Preston City. The John Meech house is listed on the state of CT historic homes. Sandy and Gail Beechers are just the 5th owners to this historic home, and about to celebrate 20 years in business.

The home has been restored to moderen code with the historic nature left untouched.

A large cooking fireplace is featured in the keeping room, with 5 additional fireplaces in the house. Guests are treated to saturday night wine tastings in front of the parlor fire, we feature the Preston Ridge Vineyards fine wines.

Organic eggs from our hens, fresh herbs and garden produce is used in our breakfast creations. Maple syrup and honey gathered here are also used and «for sale» in our farm shoppe.

We line dry our linens and use «Charlies» organic laundry soap. Guest rooms are on the second flour with hand crafted queen pencil post beds. Private baths.
