A long-time popular Chinese joint in Princeton. Pro: General-tso’s chicken. The best I have had anywhere. On point. Moo-shu. If you eat, they often make the wraps for you, so you won’t have to get messy. Fast service They give you jasmine tea if you ask them instead of ice water Con: Because of the quick turn around time, the service can feel a bit underwhelming, but consider the price and the taste.

I’ve been here a few times and have had good and okay experiences. I’ve usually found that their food is fresh and delicious. Some things are better than others. I like their meat and veggie dishes vs some noodle dishes. I also like their scallion pancakes over their vegetable dumplings. I think that Tiger Noodle is worth a try for quality Chinese food.

Fine if you’re looking for a quick and cheap lunch fix, but the food here is slightly better than Chinese takeout at best, and the ambiance is really lacking. Really sad that they stopped serving bubble tea. There’s really no reason for me to go out of my way to hit up Tiger Noodles anymore.

It’s been about 15 years since we’ve been here and we were excited after reading some of the reviews. Unfortunately we were very disappointed — dirty décor and dirty tables. We had the worst fried meat dumplings ever that even my 5 year old rejected. Scallion pancakes were too doughy. The sweet and sour lunch special was the worst. I had asked if it was deep fried and he said yes — it wasn’t. It had big chunks of white meat with a vat of orange sauce on it — no batter at all! Overall, this place needs a renovation — new tables, chairs, counters and a deep clean. It has so much potential!

Thumbs up for the outdoor Patio, The food not so great. The sea food dumplings were so so bad — the outer shell were really stale . The Lo mein was greasy, though the Spicy chicken provided some solace . The cutlery is the worst and the only beverage they had were soft drinks ! Not even the ice tea which was on the menu . Wanted to try this place for the longest — finally did .but what a let down.

I don’t recommend the radioactive-yellow egg drop soup or greasy curry noodles. Or much else from this establishment.

Definitely not a very authentic Chinese restaurant– you can basically tell from the menu. The taste of food here is ok– we tried dumplings and two noodle dishes here. The dumplings are homemade so the wrap definitely tasted better than the frozen ones. My boyfriend got the Sichuan Spicy noodles– I like the texture of the noodles but the sauce was not super interesting. The stir fried thick rice noodle with beef I got was barely ok. It’s not hard to find better ones from other Cantonese style restaurant.

It was ok at best. I was glad my order was ready when I arrived to pick it up. Taste was ok. Best way I can put it is that this stuff ran through me before I could finish it. I guess that’s enough said. Oh yeah fortune cookies were really stale.

The food here is good as well as the service we got. Their signature dish is the home style noodles which were delicious. I would definitely come back and eat there again. They were and able to accommodate our group of 7 pretty quickly as it looked pretty crowded at 8 pm on a Sunday. There is an option to eat inside and outside. The waiter was very funny and entertaining. I would just come back to talk to him.

I came here first time in Winter, was good Chinese foods. When I went in my second time(July weekend, 2015), it has nice outside seating but decided to go inside; We are guided to the right-hand side of the store, lots of fries frying around the dining area; Will not come back.

One of my favorite Chinese places in Princeton! Never left feeling unsatisfied from this place. I usually stick to chicken based meals, so with that I’ll say that a lot of the chicken is pretty big from time to time so have a knife perhaps to cut it up some haha. Their rice almost has a sweet taste to it(in my opinion) which I like. I just wish they could let you use debit card in the store.

Overall very good. The place was busy when we went. Ordered a few dishes and shared family style. The food was pretty flavorful, compared to your general takeout place and service was decent considering how busy they were getting. Was recommended by my brother and I’m glad I could say I at least stopped and tried it. Favorite item: beef chow fen.

Sat out on the patio for lunch here today and had the fried calamari and hot and sour soup. Excellent combination. The calamari was crispy and very well seasoned and the hot and sour soup provided just enough moisture to balance out the calamari and rice.

I have come here for 17 years and it is by the the best Chinese restaurant around! Every dish I have gotten is amazing. I recommend the Thai spicy chicken, Dan Dan noodles, silver noodles and the lettuce wraps. The dumplings are perfectly done, not too much dough. The only downside is the space in the restaurant is very tiny. My boyfriend and I eat here at least once a week!

Went to Tiger Noodles for the first time. I am Asian and growing up in New York have had tremendous authentic Chinese cuisine in NY. I now live in Lawrence and hard to find a really good Chinese restaurant in this area. When looking at any place, I check out their menu first for certain items, not your typical Chinese place catering to Americans, those dishes do not interest me. Right away I saw two items that are my favorites Chow Fun(it’s Chow Fen on the menu and does not mention any meat, chow fun is a wider noodle) and Pan Fried Noodles. I sometimes see Chow Fun on some menus but never Pan Fried Noodles so was very excited to try it an see if it’s the one I like cause the only places I can get it is when I go back to NY. I went with friend who loves noodles but just lo mein(not very experienced in chinese cuisine). So I ordered pork lo mein for her, chow fen(with beef), and beef pan fried noodles(they also have chicken and seafood). I have to say all three noodle dishes were excellent, especially the two I ordered, delicious beef and sauce I’m use to, delicious noodles. The Pan Fried Noodles had a ton of beef too. I was very happy. This will be my go to place for noodles from now on. The prices may be on the little higher side but that is Princeton address. What is good is they at least offer a smaller size for half the price for some items. I can’t speak of service since we were there at 12:00 on Saturday and not very busy. We were only ones outside. Service to me was very good, food came out fast, but if the place was packed then that might be another story. Overall good experience. I highly recommend trying the Chow Fen with beef and Pan Fried Noodles with Beef. Most people may not be familiar with these and you won’t regret it(make sure you mix the sauce with the pan fried noodles).

Was given a friendly greeting when I came so that was a nice start. However things went down from there. Although the dipping sauce was good, the boiled seafood dumplings were very bland and had to be soaked in the sauce for some flavor. I ordered the Little Bit of Everything soup and was very disappointed. The«broth» was more like congealed gravy. Huh? The bits of pork I could find were ok enough but the carrots and what I think was cabbage buried in the gravy were very overcooked. Yuck. Oh and I hate to think there’s bias but um… non-Asian folks do like hot tea. I wasn’t offered any, just given ice water but when an Asian family came in 15 minutes after me, they were given tea immediately and were also served much more quickly. I thought maybe they just didn’t like me but about 10 minutes after them, a white family came in and yep, were given ice water and slow service. Bad show, guys. And don’t think paying me an empty compliment while delivering my check is going to inspire a higher tip. You got an average one. Improve your food and your service and you’ll do better. Bummer.

Their food tastes great. However, I react badly to MSG(get a migraine later) and even when requested, the food does still contain MSG. Also, delivery is very spotty in rush hour times. They had trouble finding our house on a main street in Princeton. And on occasion didn’t show at all. It’s a real shame about the MSG, because otherwise I would be a fan.

I’ve been here a couple times over the years, and every time I’ve been here I’ve felt like my group are the only people in the restaurant, which I love. It’s intimate. It’s also BYOB, which I also love. The food has always been good. As a vegetarian, I was reeeally impressed by their tofu dishes. Some people find it difficult to prepare tofu well, but they prepared it perfectly. A great intimate place for a date or just to hang out with friends.

Nice seating area. Szechuan wontons with peanut sauce were excellent. Lunch menu is very well priced and comes with a lot of options. The hot and sour soup was tasty as well. Noodle soup with chicken and vegetables was bland but fresh and well cooked. Only cash and checks accepted though.
