Having our dogs cared for (at Tru Love) while we are on vacation by people that love them almost as much as we do is such a comfort! We’ve had «issues» at «other» places and have opted to take the drive here, it is well worth it!
Lots of land to explore and claim! Our 5 enjoyed it. Their care was perfect and the pack was well behaved and happy to come home too! (With no bad habits!) They even emailed us random pics of our kids playing!
The family that runs this near their home keeps it neat and clean and very well manicured!
Call 1st for the best care your kids will ever get! (Away from home!)

My husband and I are looking for a pet boarding facility near our home and came across Trulove. We went out to visit the kennel and while there saw they only do by appointments only… this had me concerned but we called anyway. The lady who answered was pretty rude and stated she only tours by appointment only and did not even attempt to set an appointment with us while we were sitting in front of the location.
Now even if I did choose to use this kennel I would be skeptical of the lodging for my pups not knowing what the condition is of the facility when I do not have an appointment and allow her time to clean up to show the place. Also, what happens if I have an emergency and needed to pick up or drop off earlier than expected or needed to leave town for a family emergency unexpectedly.
Seems shady to me.

This is a follow-​up to my previous review of 5÷28÷2013. I boarded with Tru Luv for the second time, 8⁄2013 and have just booked a third stay with them this January 2015. As with the first visit, I came home to healthy, happy content pups.
We had a couple of «iffy» experiences with boarding prior to finding Lynne at Tru Luv. I’m sure these other kennels cared properly for the dogs, I’m not accusing them of any neglect — but on our return home, the dogs were nervous and edgy. They wanted constant reassurance and jumped up to follow me even when I moved to another room in the house.
After each of our boarding experiences with Tru Luv, the dogs were relaxed and comfortable. While they were happy to see us, they were casual, as if we had only been gone for the day, and not for a 8 days. They make the accommodations needed to make your pets stay «home like», and I loved getting the daily photos in my email.
The best recommendation I can make is to say — prior to finding this awesome kennel, my vacation left me worrying about «my boys» — since finding TruLuv my vacation is as worry free as the weather allows.

I don’t normally like to give away my secret hot spots. This is one of those places that makes you so happy that you don’t tell your friends about it because you want to keep it all to yourself. When my family first moved to Texas a couple years ago, we looked and found this kennel to take care of our beloved golden retrievers «Bailey» and «Cooper». The owner Lynne has set up a complete kennel on her property that is fully enclosed, heated, and air conditioned. The price has been good for our two dogs charging what most places would charge for one dog. It’s a little out of our way, but once you get the daily e-​mail pictures in your inbox, you realize it’s well worth the drive. This place is a gem in the rough and I’m amazed this is the first review they’ve had on Unilocal.Luckily for Lynne, I’m a Unilocaler through and through, and believe in giving credit where it’s due!
